A Shakespearean tragedy, lol. I suppose it would have to be 'The Tim-pest.'

Can't see the fans accepting the men who blew the ten in the dugout next season. If anything it would guarantee continued unrest among a support already in uproar. I hope they go for it and we can all laugh at the piss-stained bedsheet banners for another year.

It has to be contractual. their board probably knew that the ten was gone so there's no point in sacking him, and snus-breath will be clinging on like a mhanky limpet, praying for some sort of admin/points deduction event to come our way and give him a chance to save his bacon.

I don't think the club reputation is the biggest factor here, though there may be some pressure to be seen to act given the circumstances. The issue as I see it is that they've defied instructions and made the manager look impotent, and Steven Gerrard does not strike me s the type to be made a fool of with impunity.
The explicit punishment may only go so far, but I wouldn't be surprised if those involved find themselves frozen out and pushed to the back of the queue for first team starts, especially those who aren't deemed a prospect.

These players are idiots who shouldn't kick a ball for us again
Folk are making all the excuses under the sun like they're just young lads etc, they're also young lads who are in a position most Bears would give their left nut for, they're playing for Rangers football club and now they've put the team at risk. Unacceptable.
I don't know what kind of money these players are on but id imagine its thousands of pounds a month, if my work was paying me that kind of money and said "obey the covid rules" then id bloody well do it.
They get to see their colleagues and go to work and have mental simulation every day which is something plenty of folk are desperate for. All the talk of them being young lady enjoying a night is a load of pish. They're in a privileged position and being paid handsomely for it and instead they act like spoiled brats

There's fucking up and then there's taking the piss. Imagine the reaction if it was Griffiths instead of our own.
My own feeling is that if they have breached rules then they should be treated the same as Jones and Edmunson. If preferential treatment is dished out then we risk fracturing squad harmony.

I understand the sentiment, but they've a responsibility to the club not to dip us in the shit like that.
As for McGregor, I certainly wouldn't want him gone, but I hold to my original assertion that equal treatment must prevail. If we go easy on players according to their prominence then we're inviting more breaches to happen.
