The main thing for me is that it is incredibly poor for people to say "All police are bastards" when there is currently a policeman in a very bad way after being shot by terrorists in our country.
When in the last couple of decades we have had the murder of multiple police officers including the ambush and murder of two police women, the dragging of a police officer under a car for miles and many many other attacks on front line officers who put their lives on the line to protect us all.

Huge improvement, which was badly needed. We look much more like a team now, and the changes to our style are now far more evident. 
Alves looked excellent and marshalled the defense well, Cordoso and Tavernier benefited in particular. Dorrans and Jack looked like a balanced pairing, and Niko looked good. Was impressed with the quality of delivery from Candieas, and Herrara looks like he'll cause defenses problems if he gets the right supply. Wallace looked stronger defensively, but was poor going forward.

Murray's ranking is interesting.
As it stands he moves up one place to 5th.
A win today moves him to 4th.
A win in the final to 3rd.
A loss today and Berdych will push him back to 6th.
Wawrinka beating Berdych in the final would love Murray back to 7th.
With Murray's annual "what's the bloody point?" Clay court disaster coming up, he could use the 3rd/4th place seeding.

I don't really understand the bitterness. Yes Celtic Park is hosting the opener but nobody gives a shit about opening ceremonies and that's all they're getting. Plus the Queen will be there amidst a big celebration of all things Royal which will drive them a bit mad.
Looking forward to the athletics, various cycling events and the triathlon.
Good buzz about the city, great weather, loads of tourists and hopefully a badly needed regeneration of some of our poorest areas.
