Legend for me. He's done more than enough over 3 spells while others have come and gone and not put in half the application he's put in. His brief episode with Ceptic aside and we wouldn't be discussing it but everyone makes mistakes.
Devil's advocate but I don't believe any Rangers manager has ever been sacked in the history of our club and all this talk of scouring the continent for young talent could well come a cropper with Brexit so any long term plan people are dreaming up is uncertaint. A manager with a knowledge of the English lower leagues may be as good as it gets from a risk mitigation perspective.
McGregor came through Murray Park
Bocanegra was 500k
Whittaker was £2m
Broadfoot was a free transfer
Papac was about 600k
Edu was roughly 2m
Davis was 3m
Jelavic was 4m
Four pages and no mention of Andy Townsend, the least insightful pundit I can think of.
"The ball's come into the box there and he's got a free header but he just can't get enough on it."
Thanks for that Andy, I can see that myself from the replay.
It's not just ruined English football, its ruined European football. It's sickening the likes of Stoke City and Bournemouth can now outspend Rangers, Ajax, Benfica etc.
FIFA and UEFA need to be gutted from top to bottom for letting these sorts of situations arise. Football has become the antithesis of what it's supposed to be- Sport.
