Season has barely finished but already they . . .
DavidCF2 replied to BLUEDIGNITY's topic in General Football & Sport
I can see Lennon having a major "Episode" by Christmas if things arent quite going to plan. Will be interesting how his players react to team talks given via direct link from a padded cell in Carstairs. -
"Ra Galla'gate" is an absolute pus filled cancerous sore on the face of Mother Nature. It has zero redeeming features and should be bulldozed post-haste. Looking like downtown Beirut would be somthing for it to aspire to.

I got a letter about 3 weeks ago...Best phone them to be sure.

The response they got last year will maybe, just maybe have them thinking twice. Although, I suppose any chance to play the victim is always a good thing for them. Aye,i remember they scumbags took a beaten last year. That cunt marty that had his face covered in blood in the back of the meatwagon. Shitebags the lot of them. Wonder he's got planned that day?

Founders Trail and Stadium Tour 30th May 2010.
DavidCF2 replied to TheMoonlighter's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Nobody has had any answers from that moonlighter bloke so i don't think there would have been many people booking seats You're all missing out then. To be fair, it can be done on ones own accord. Everyone knows the sites to visit, its not like booking a seat for this is the only way to see them. I dont dispute its a fantastic idea and would be a good way to take the trail but its hardly missing out if people choose to do it themselves. -

Neil Alexander on his future, looks to extend contract
DavidCF2 replied to Boab's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
nonsense I mean in terms of being a capable replacement for McGregor. Fair enough, he is a model professional but thats not going to have any improvementon his current ability. He is a good back up keeper but will in no way be an equal replacement for McGregor if he leaves. in your opinion m8 the way players carry themselves on and off the park is extremely important, especially at a club with the standards of Rangers FC i expect every one of my Rangers players to be perfect professionals, and Alexander is that, Shagger is not. Our players are role models for thousands of people, not just kids, all over Scotland. Although its hard to argue that McGregor should not be number 1, but i will!!! Im not disputing that at all!! Every player shouldbe representing the club to the highest standards, I just mean that when people are saying he is a good replacement for McGregor due to his professionalism, I disagree because while he is an excellent representative of the club, he's still not of the same ability as McGregor on the park. I wasnt for a minute disagreeing with your post above. -

Agree with this. If he's honest enough that he's not going to be here for years while still banging the goals in, I dont see the problem in signing him up. There is way too much unity in the squad for it to be disrupted by one guy.

McGregor is still miles ahead of him, in terms of ability. A lot of folk seem to think cashing in on McGregor would be no bad thing due to Alexander being back up, but IMO he would be a massive, massive loss. Alexander is a capable deputy and no more. His attitude off the park is irrelevant. -
If the money is right, I would say it would be a good signing.
-
Admittedly, I dont know too much about him, but his scoring record doesnt appear to command much more than the reported "Offer".
-
I presume it is a definite that he is offski, then? I have only read snippets in the media that say he wont renew his contract, I take it theres pretty much no chance of him being here for the new season?

Bougherra says injury woes now a distant memory
DavidCF2 replied to Blue Stars Bearette's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Id prefer if he stayed. I realize he is a valuable asset, but even Walter Smith cant keep finding these talented centre halfs and turning them into stars. He will be a big loss IMO. -

Excellent idea. Fitting tribute and a fantastic way for everyone to pay their respects. -
Heard that also.

I think Ledley is very publically visiting clubs like Celtic in order to try and drum up interest in the Premiership. If he comes to have talks with us Ill include Rangers in that as well.

That's pish, always going for our targets after we get linked with someone I usually never care who they sign or how they go about it, but this was the type of player we could have been doing with. Good young player with a massive sell on value. Still, nothings finalized yet, we could play them at their own game.

SPL players that you would like to see at the club
DavidCF2 replied to Thommo's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Lee Wallace, Andy Driver from SPL. The boy Griffiths that plays for Dundee looks a good shout as well. -
Could 2010/2011 be our greatest year?
DavidCF2 replied to cooper1989's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I think we are more than capable of winning the league, but in all honesty Im not filled with confidence going into this season. Its fine saying we have money to spend for the first time in a few seasons, but the funds will be nowhere near enough to even bring us back to the depth we had at the end of last season, never mind improve us enough to do something in Europe (IE at least drop into Europa). Add to that the fact that Smith has already announced he is leaving, we saw what happened last time he done that when we were going for 10IAR and I dont think we are going to have much in the way of entertainment. One saving grace is the mob accross the city look to be appointing that bigot Lennon as manager, which should see us find a lesser challenge from them. -
We dont have to accept below-par offers for our players any more. If Craig Gordon can be sold for 9 million then McGregor cant be worth much less than that. Im not really convinced by Alexander as a suitable replacement either.
