Need to move the ball quicker especially to the wide areas. Sima and Ridvan are guilty of both coming towards the middle and congesting the central area.

Sterling taking advantage of circumstances and giving the manager a decision to make once the others return to fitness. Thought he was superb today.

Seems to want to rush a pass at all times. Very rarely is the quick pass on, or accurate enough to result in anything other than gifting back possession. He also never seems to break out of anything other than a jog. I think there is a skillful player in there but, perhaps he believes he is better than he actually is.

What a result and performance. Great to see Roofe getting the winner and Sterling also put on a good performance. Other positives, Dessers best 45 mins since arriving, Cifuentes showing up in the forward areas with a great pass for the second and Lammers.... not great but probably his most positive showing since arriving. Thought he could have done better on a couple of occasions but he looks shot of confidence when staring at the goal.

McCausland has to do more defensive work, jogging up the park watching the goal scorer pick his spot.

Lammers is horrific.

You always new there would be a Clancy moment in the game. But I am not sure Cifuentes even has to challenge for the ball. When he does challenge there's nothing in it and certainly no real malice. They should appeal this one.

Given today's update on Danilo and Lawrence. Many including myself are thinking about Sima as the central striker and Matondo on the left. But given that Lammers made his break through as a number nine for Herenveen could he be an unexpected choice to be given a chance as the central striker.

Lawrence in beside Lundstram looked ok and should be the way forward until Jack or Raskin are available.

His substitution for me was more out of annoyance by the manager and a statement to Cantwell that he has to follow orders to help the team. But if it's about helping the team and not based on personality differences. It's hard to argue that leaving Lammers on the pitch is in favour of helping the team. McCausland coming on 100% everyone will agree with, but if it's about helping the team Lammers had to come off and Cantwell moved more central. The lack of discipline in following orders could be dealt with after the game, but surely the end game is to have your best players on the field.

Lammers was absolutely awful, genuinely terrible.
Absolutely agree that his comments made no sense. If he wanted width he had two natural wingers fit and ready to start. Anybody could understand Cantwell playing wide if Lammers was contributing and ahead of Cantwell but he is terrible and surely has to be dropped. Fact that he playing as a number 10 ahead of Cantwell and Lawrence is laughable.

Usual comments about Lammers and Cifuentes tonight, they are not good enough and have contributed little since arriving. But our subs, McCausland apart done very little when they came on.

Can't fault his workrate and commitment, got himself into some good positions tonight but the ball didn't really fall for him.

Clement post match interview, says he took him off because he was cutting inside to often. Yet that's exactly how he scored against Sparta, cutting inside onto his left foot. Just hope an ego measuring exercise is not the basis for weakening the team. It's an absolute no brainer that Cantwell in place of Lammers is best for the team yet game after game we seeing Lammers start games and contribute nothing.

Just watched the managers post match. Thought for the first time since arriving he talked a lot of nonsense.

Get him a loan deal back to the MLS asap. Game over here is to fast and to physical for him, looks terrified every game he plays.

Our balance at the moment is all wrong and miles of where we were before the international break. Jack and Raskin missing from the midfield is being felt each game, more so for me Jack is the biggest miss. He has a lot of doubters but he does a lot a unselfish work that allows the play to progress.

Manager has a big problem to sort out with Cantwell. Any player would be disappointed to be played out of position but to be pushed aside for Lammers would put you over the edge. Tonight's early change was justified but it was in my opinion wrong and Lammers should have been brought off and Cantwell moved into the 10 position.
Clement has to be looking at bringing Hagi back in January to increase the quantity in the squad. Cifuentes and Lammers are becoming a long running joke but at least he seems to have made a decision on Dessers by once again leaving him on the bench.
