  1. So, if Ally came out and said all those things in the OP, what do you think the outcome would be?
  2. I live abroad and therefore do not go to many away games - maybe a couple when I am back in country. However I do have a view and that view would be to boycott all SPL away matches. Some people have mentioned we need to support the players, however the players would fully understand the reasoning behind the boycott and if they do not then it is easy to explain. The future treatment of RFC is the single most important factor and not our players having to play without fans. Playing without fans is obviously not ideal however we must fight for our club and demand that we are treated fairly and without bias. I would ask our fantastic away support (the best on the planet as far as I am concerned) to join together and make a concerted effort to show all doubters the positive impact our club has on Scottish Football. Only by knowing what they are missing will other clubs acknowledge our true impact. It is stunning the amount of effort that other clubs/fans/governing bodies have put into the death of us and it cannot go unchallanged. If they put as much effort into improving their own clubs then Scottish Football would be in better order. I would love a united front on this and it will only happen if supporters groups and/or RFFF get involved. As I mentioned above my attendance at away matches is small, however I will continue to focus on supporting my club in ways that I can, via RangersTV, buying merchandise, supporting fundraising initiatives and buying tickets for Ibrox for my family in Scotland. To our future
  3. Seriously - how long will it take before honest Rangers fans can trust anyone with our great club? Not only am I sick of our club going through the ringer day in day out, but I find myself questioning the words of everyone. I feel myself sliding into being a complete cynic of just about anything I hear or read. I cannot trust Green and I am pissed off at the half arsed attempt by Walter and Co. Anyway - my words add bugger all but I feel a bit better now.
  4. Guys, we are focussing on the past and the why didn't they do this or that. I have nothing really against Green but for me the question is what is best for us now? If any of you had the choice, who would you choose.......... Green or Walter? Ultimately I would choose Walter and friends.
  5. I was trying to be helpful mate but if you feel better after your post then I am happy for you. No-one outside the local area will know Kirkhill - people will know Halfway & Cambuslang. Also, people will know the main road between Halfway & Cambuslang, however Hamilton Road is not obvious to most. Anyway, I hope all who go along enjoy the day.
  6. The main walk is in Cambuslang starting at 12 noon. There are various walks in the morning including Glasgow where they will walk to Glasgow Green, get on their transport and make their way to Cambuslang Park, where they will begin the main parade.
  7. Its actually Cambuslang Public Park mate, however they will be leaving the Park entrance at the Halfway side, walking to Halfway main street, along the main road between Halfway & Cambuslang, into Cambuslang, along the main street and turning left at the Black Bull pub and back to Cambuslang park.
  8. As per the title and for those who may be interested - there is a large Apprentice Boys parade in Cambuslang tomorrow starting at 12 noon. May be the excuse you need for not shopping with the wife now the football season if over!
  9. Would it be reasonable to expect significant job losses throughout Rangers staff. Not talking players here. Only way to balance the books is to increase income or reduce costs.
  10. He has my full backing, however not yet my trust. I would imagine most, if not all bears will struggle to trust anyone for quite some time.
  11. Soccer is massive in the US - more kids and teenagers play soccer than all other sports put together. It has yet to match the others commercially, however it is growing and gaining slowly. Will it ever match American football, no never, but it does not have to in order to have potential for our club. If Miller has our best interests at heart, wants us to move forward, grow commercially and he has a 'long term' committment to us then I have no doubts that he will be able to tap into the US market in some way. If he does not have a long term goal and he has any other less desirable motives for buying us, then the above will be irrellevant. I hope he is in it for the reasons we all hope - if so the rest can only be a positive.
  12. Please do not play the guy this season - just let him train and build his stamina & strength. Hopefully he will be a big part of our team next season.
  13. Bump! Any more news/updates on this? cheers
  14. Guardian - I was not comparing these guys. I was giving my opinion and personal knowledge of one person in particular. I have no knowledge of Murray other than what I have read. Will Murray be good for Rangers I have no idea........... will Ellis be bad for Rangers - definitely. Ellis was absolutely fundemental to Whytes takeover at Rangers.
  15. Slightly off topic guys, however.......... I live abroad so unfortunately I cannot attend the protest planned for Saturday. Speaking to my old man yesterday I was telling him about the plans and all the other issues hitting us from all angles! Anyway, I asked my dad if he would attend the protest on Saturday on my behalf and he said "Of course son, i'll do that" I never thought for a minute that my 68 year old dad would protest against/for anything in his life - just goes to show what The Rangers mean. I am proud to say that my dad will be among you guys on Saturday - I wish I could too.
  16. Mate, this guy has no money whatsoever and he relies on financing for all his business dealings. I believe I have said this numerous times - but this guy would be extremely bad for our club! If he has any dealings with Miller, that counts Miller out for me.
  17. No segregation required inside or outside - may well save us money.
  18. It is getting to the stage now where I am surprised that no-one has paid Mr Whyte a visit. Not condoning this obviously, but what this guy has done to us - well, people have been lynched for less.
  19. What did I say that made you feel I did not read your last post? I agree with your point about maximum boycott. It needs time to be organised if you wish full impact. What I put forward is that a shot across the bows of St Johnstone might be worthwhile. It may not be, in your words, a maximum boycott, but it would be well noted by all SPL chairman. If you look at trade unions as an example, not every action is a full out 5 day strike. Half day strikes etc noting intent can initially get a point across. As for your last point, no argument from me. Every Rangers fan has the right of choice and everyone that turns up will do us proud as always.
  20. Watched a game in New Orleans a few years back. The Rangers & other mob shared a pub (Irish Bar - within the French Quarter) and rotated as home team each OF game. (Bar takings or something) Anyway, the day we watched it the beggars had the bar. Cannot for the life of me remember the name of the bar, sorry. Try the NARSA website. Kick off was 7am I think and we fell out the bar at 5pm. There were four of us that walked in together, head to toe in nuns outfits and all the beggars jumped up and started singing............. we then lifted the outfits up to reveal our Rangers strips............ followed by all the Rangers fans jumping up and giving the beggars pelters!!! Good day :-)
  21. Tough one this. The Scab thing is a lot of shit but the other point about Brown being an enemy is quite correct. The thing is Scotty, there will always be a reason to watch Rangers - last game of season, then it will be the first away game of season, then it will be too 'important' a game to boycott. At some point if a Boycott is to happen, it needs to happen at all games. For example, take the last game of this season at St Johnstone - do you not think that the players would fully understand our reasons for boycotting this game? They have watched 50k turn up and give the most unbelievable support that Ibrox has seen in years..... I am sure the players and staff are under no illusion whatsoever of what Rangers mean to the fans. A boycott and a shot across the brow of all the SPL chairman may be exactly what is required.
  22. Money ready and waiting to take part in this - it has been my preferred option form day one. I rememeber when Unite was aired for the first time, it got a pounding. There definitely seems a more positive response as time moves on. For those that say no to this, that we are not up to the task of voting the correct people into our club, or up to making the required decisions - please look at our last 2 experts.......... Murray & White - these two experts that have virtually put us out the game. What Unite is all about is owning part or all our club - not running it on a daily basis. However, by owning it we will have the ability to see deep into the mechanics of our club and no longer will there be the secretive financial disasters that have occured in recent years.
