You could well be correct - there is certainly a contradiction between the council and AFC.

What are the actual facts here - the guy from the council said that AFC have planning permission to build on that site, therefore what are AFC actually moaning about?

I used to go to every home game until I moved from Scotland about 12 years ago. I was also a member of the fan club, where you got away tickets (forget the proper name for it??) Anyway I continued to watch from affar, however I started losing interest a few years ago when our Rangers players would get booed. This past while and the treatment we have had from the SFA and other SPL clubs has broken the back of any love or interest I have for the Scotland National Team. I remain extremely proud to be Scottish (& British) but no longer do I support Scotland when it comes to football. My time, love and money will be focused on Rangers.

We seem to be discussing and focussing on whether there is a link between various parties currently or previously involved with Rangers. Lets for a moment accept that there is a link of some kind between Green, Whyte, Ticketus etc.......... is it a big deal, no big deal, disaster or who really cares??

It is hard enough to watch St Johnstone when Rangers are playing them. Why the fuck would you want to watch them any other time. Some strange folk in this world!!

Get a grip - we claim to be the best fans and above the scum from the east, yet we boast about players getting injured. Poor form and not the Rangers way!

Spot on - I believe we will win the league comfortably, but contrary to some other opinions, the other teams will score a good few goals and there will be a few draws and a couple of upsets thrown in. We are travelling to many places with dodgy facilities and pitches and that is always a recipe for a hard time. As for Ibrox, it should be more straightforward........ hopefully!!

Charles Green has always come across well to me and I actually quite like the guy - the problem is I find it hard to trust anyone these days with our club. Saying that, i truly hope he comes through for us!!

Yer probably right - always made my own way to games for that very reason. I prefer getting to Ibrox early to have a beer and watch the warm up etc. As for the away games this year, some of the places have great little pubs and/or social clubs, so worth those that go checking them out and making an effort to get there sharp. You always seem to get a good pint in these places as well!! Unfortunately, as I live abroad now I won't manage to many - a real downside as I am so up for this season.

How about actually making some friends - why do we need to hate or have a problem with anyone. Get to the game sharp, find a pub, have some beer, shake some hands, off to the game, sing some songs, watch the Mighty Rangers win again, back to the pub, a couple more beer, shake some more hands and off home - sounds like a nice day to me. C'mon the bears!

RangersUnite is not merely about buying the full club, for example 100% or nothing. The setup up allows for buying portions of the club and therefore could work very well alongside the current owner.
