The DoF is the person to so all that menial shit so the manager/coach doesn't have to
In our case Beale speaks with a player he's interested in, not their agent or club but the player (if the opposing club allows it) and finds out if the player is interested and is a good fit for us
Once thats established its up to the DoF to try and get the player, which can take a lot of time negotiating both fee and contracts, time which is better spent for beale with the current team on the training pitch
There are plenty suits at the club already that could and should be doing all of that '' hard work ''.

Complete waste of cash this position , Beale and whoever his scouts are are doing an ok job on getting signings in early. Whether they work out or not is another story but thats the same with any DOF.
The longer we go without one surely they will see its a wage that doesnt need to be wasted. -

Thats your opinion , mines was at the time he wasnt worth it and its been shown over his whole time here he was a very expensive flop who has now walked out of the club for nothing. Plenty on here were raving about how much he was going to make us when he moved on , just like they are now saying about Tillman if we blow £5m on him.

Suppose hes given us value for 1m he cost , but for me hes one of the most over rated strikers we have ever had. Before i get the , look at how many goals he scored stuff , Kris Boyd scored more it never made him a great player.
He will never see the heights of some great european nights with us in his playing career again.
