Pena is a dead duck, if we got the Pena we were supposed to get and not some weird alcoholic unfit couldn't give a fuck Pena an arguement could be made. The guy was in the Mexican national team and should be streets ahead of the average player over here. The guy could come back with his head out his arse and speak to Gerrard and be given a chance, but we need to live in reality and accept the signing of Pena was a complete car crash. As a poster said earlier I also think we have several issues that need fixed. We need other players to chip in with goals with Alfredo, our top scorer after him is Tav and that's because he takes the penalty kick. I'm not a fan of Candeias and noticed his shooting is like his crossing in that the ball doesn't get past the first man. I like Kent and Arfield but their shooting is abysmal, we need to get these guys putting in decent shots and not the feeble weak efforts they are doing.

I know it's always easy to throw out a "play youth players" opinion and in most cases it a knee jerk reaction, but by fuck we must have a youth who won't degrade the team the way he does. I honestly think he is that bad, I would rather play 10 men if it meant we didn't have him in the starting 11.

He said when he came that he had ambitions of playing in England, guy is no different to any player in the world outwith the guys who play for Madrid and Barca. There isn't a player in Scotland who would knock back a chance to play in England and leave their current club, Van Bronkhurst came to us and said the same thing. Morelos is a talent but he has still to turn it up against the bigger teams, he only managed 2 goals in Europe and both were in the same match and he has yet to score against celtic which is where the big English clubs will be judging him. I think it really boils down to what level of club he wants to go play for in England as at present he would in reality be looking at a Fulham or Burnley, if he was banging the goals in the Europa cup and against celtic he could aim for a mid table like Everton but at present I don't think they would take him. The boy has talent and potential but he is probably not going to be a future Agureo or Kane but I suppose stranger things have happened in football., I think if he does go to a club like Fulham he will just end up disappearing into obscurity and in 5 years we will be on here speaking about him coming back.

There is no point looking back at Windass and only remembering the few flashes of good he done, he was a rank rotten player and the fact we got anything for him still amazes me. For example the celtic game, he scored his goal then played piss poor for the rest of the game. In 90 minutes of football he would give us 3 to 5 minutes then piss for the rest.

Imho I think we would be better playing a 442 and skip the fancy shit, just make us a solid workman hard as fuck 442.

Outside the poor players who we know I feel our players aren't intelligent football wise and aren't great at reading and positioning, I also feel the way we play doesn't suit the players we have. I'm not a fan of the 4-3-3 formations and have always had the feeling it only works if you have top class players, if a Man City or Barca were to do it they would be immense.
