  1. They did , I genuinely think they didn't have a fucken clue what was going on There would have been more fans there but do you know with the school uniforms to buy and that ........
  2. I'm not sure Ashley can take credit for the scouting network but he can take credit for the way the club is run, he didn't do what the fans wanted (that's not always easy to take) but the business idea they've adopted makes perfect sense .
  3. Absolutely brilliant quote & thanks for the OP for posting the initial lik because I was baffled . Take a bow Charles
  4. If he's serious then surely he deserves credit for it ? It certainly shows the pull that the club that is Rangers still has, never been a huge fan but if he's genuine I think it's a comment that deserves maybe a bit of respect rather than abuse. I can't believe somebody said he's a bigger cunt than that rat manger Lennon , thought I'd misread that
  5. That bloke makes Stretford look like a paragon of virtue you really don't want him anywhere near the club
  6. I've got reasons to dislike him but he's certainly nowhere near as 'dodgy' as other high profile agents who are always in the middle of 'allegations' , no worse than most I'd suspect and pretty influential although personally I think he's a 'rat' .
  7. Well said and sums up how I feel. (Not to hijack the thread but personally RIP cpl Ben Nowak and WO2 Mick Smith killed in Iraq and afghan respectively , great blokes and both missed)
  8. What a fantastic quote from a player with rangers in his heart , now that lad is a legend.
  9. Spot on right , wrong or whatever they made a decision based on fan pressure not on business sense so now when what happens begins to happen they lash out at the one club that didn't vote to relegate . The SFL didn't respond to bullying and pressure and to some degree they deserve less blame than the whinging SPL clubs. They voted for something despite knowing the results and now all have the cheek to bitch and Moan . They wanted to maintain the moral high ground but still give rangers a kicking well fuck em. if butcher is upset I suggest he directs his ire and anger towards his clubs chairman and fans for a start. On the actual quote it's possible it was a comment that looks a lot worse when it's out there rather than when He thought about it but as an ex player he needs to think a bit harder before he speaks
  10. That my friend gets you a rep
  11. I remember as an Evertonian being devastated when that was happening . I can understand people being totally pissed off with everton but at least 5 of us have been up at least once a season to watch Rangers. That have always been connections between both Glasgow clubs (sad that anyone would associate with those rats ) and people from the city of Liverpool. Plenty of connections on the park between everton and rangers as well , let's hope we both have a good season (god knows you deserve something to get behind) and I've certainly been welcomed on here .
  12. Walter's made his living for years working in the game of football therefore for him whatever his love for rangers its only natural that he would maybe see those jumping ship differently than the supporters of the club . For players , coaches, physio's , kitmen or whatever there are so very few out there that can see past the idea of it ultimately being a job & feel the same love or passion that the everyday or supporter does. Fortunately for all those that have quit , rangers is lucky enough to have some people associated with it that get the club and that's to the credit of the club and the individuals involved.
  13. I don't think it'll show he's ready but jones is ranked above him and it's a step up isn't it ? They want another fight before they talk of a shot & to be honest this is a very good effort by brook EDIT- brook looks knackered I don't massively disagree on fury but I'm not sure the last few fights have told us much . As you say it's going to be a while til we know what we've got
  14. I think proksa might show he took the last fight too lightly as I do feel he's the more talented fighter. I think this is the fight brook needs to start to show he has the ability to be consider at world level in the future, this is his first real step up although hartton's heart in defeat against alavarez showed he'd be no push over. Fury sometimes looks like he'll never be at the top level and he's not been helped by the pace of Price's rise, I'm not sure any of us know what we are going to get from fury or where he'll end up
  15. I've seen world title fights all over England, Cardiff , Vegas , The Garden and Germany but I really fancy a trip up for that as it always looks llike you say bouncing. Mitchell being a good eastend boy will almost certainly bring a mob up so it sold be brilliant, I'm seriously considering as Everton are away at Swansea so if rangers have a game I might well head up.
  16. Nice one mate , appreciate you answering thanks I know you replied to me there but the only one of those fights I mentioned was the brook one , like you I've got no interest in the other two to be honest. The price fury fight is a tough one to get together because of the tv companies and promoters but I'm with you watching fury doesn't really appeal to me. Brook certainly needs to make the step up and this guy despite 8 defeats in his career is ranked above him so it's a chance to start that journey In fairness to brook his last fight was against hatton who by no means was a top opponent but had suprised a few against Alvarez .
  17. Really looking forward to the brook fight as he looks to have all the attributes to make it and jones is a bit of a 'banger' so should be entertaining. The domestic fight I'm really looking forward to is the Mitchell / Ricky burns title fight in September . This isn't me trolling but as I've mentioned I'm an Evertonian and the decent heavyweight Price supports Liverpool but is (surprisingly for one of them) generally ok even though he comes out to YNWA so I don't mind the lad winning whereas another fighter Paul Smith was a much more typical red and I enjoyed him getting beat. The point being is I notice burns was given a Celtic shirt by that rat Lennon so what's the general opinion of him amongst you lads ? Like I say not looking for a reaction just a genuine question ?
  18. Is right he exudes class & dignity , if there is a single bear that doesn't adore him after his service to this club they must be in my humble opinion mental . Without a single doubt Ally is an absolute legend and the pride you (and to be fair me ) must feel probably doesn't even do justice to the bloke.
  19. It seems to me they are having their cake & eating it , they get to lecture about sporting integrity all the while protecting their future finances . It's easy for me to say and I'd never dream of dumping my options on you loads but I does show the duplicious nature of those running the game in Scotland
  20. That's the key they want to bullshit about sporting integrity but protect their members failing finances . They want their cake & eat It , it's a fucken disgrace . The whole this is about rhetoric & no actual substance , "all fur coat & no knickers"
  21. Stayed out of her today as I've posted a few times I'm an Evertonian with love for Rangers so I didn't want people thinking I was taking the piss or giving it the big one. I can totally understand the hatred for Naismith but although everton have taken advantage of him turning his back on his boyhood club with other clubs competing for his signature I think it's fair to say it doesn't seem we've engineered the whole affair . Anyway this Evertonian hopes the comments wishing bad luck on us is just the totally understandable anger your feeling in these difficult times but whether it is or isn't there are at least a few of us will be up at least once to watch you next year wherever you are playing because You Are The People fellas keep proud and do not let these rats grind you down .
  22. Pienaar at present has gone back to Spurs. Fellani mostly plays in there although he linked up well with Jela when pushed up a bit, Gibson as well , a very promising young lad coming through in Barkley & another youngster that plays wide in Gueye and you could just sort of call Cahill a midfielder.
  23. Mate I know exactly where your pissed off & watching that press conference wound me up so it must have been 10 times worse or more for you. I might be wrong but even a little like Rooney it's the way they talk/behave that hurts as much as their actions just a lack of respect , honesty & basic decency. We've lost players again though and need bodies added to aging players having watched him he'll be in & around the squad. Thanks for the positive thoughts mate , the 80's were great times well up until Rangers pinched our players !!! Seriously though they were different days & good times and I hope you enjoyed yourself ? Like everyone on here of you ever get down again give me a shout
