  1. On the freedom of speech side i think the little scumbag deserves our contempt and a good slapping or what he's written and I'll cry no tears if he's nicked but I do agree that it's amazing to see people getting prison for comments posted on the Internet when others commiting far worse offences walk away . I also find it amazing it seems there are words I could type on an premier league teams forum that would cause me not a single problem but could get me arrested if I type on here. Suppose that's a different debate mind, this little shite is a rat who is no doubt still sobbing to his mammy but as I remember being told as a kid he's only crying because he's been caught the cowardly little rat.
  2. I posted earlier what I think of him but if he is peddling the 'hacked' line that at the minute there isn't much more the media can report even though everyone knows what a load of crap it obviously is.
  3. Is anyone surprised to see the person responsible is a pathetic fat keyboard warrior like that crying he's been hacked and hiding behind his mummies apron strings ? Reading the that article, the nature of the messages and looking at the picture its clear what a pathetic, cowardly verminous little rat he truly is. Mocking the courage of a man taking on that terrible disease and the death of another prepared to get up and serve their country, Let's hope he gets what he deserves and see how much courage he's got ease I think we all low the answer. Scumbag
  4. I think moody was signing off on the deals but in reality the reporting trying harder than just hammering the " crazy foreign owner" or " great lad malky" seems to be hinting at least that the two footballing men had a great deal of influence. Of course those upstairs aren't blameless but we've seen in other cases before how a couple of football people working closely together can maybe have more influence/power than they should and the deals that can lead to.
  5. Clearly that story comes from the Mackay camp Today's daily mail puts forward a slightly different argument probably briefed by the other side . Questioning fees & wages paid for certain players who are identified , image rights payments and questions over rumours that medel was available for £6m and Cardiff paid nearly twice that.
  6. No business sense for everton to loan him as if he goes the club have no cover and no money to replace him . If can persuade someone to buy him ,most likely west ham who have watched him since his time in Scotland or perhaps Hull , he'll be off .
  7. I think absolutely they do but two experienced people in positions of authority can 'bamboozle ' another , but two people close and in positions of authority can be a recipe for 'allegations' look at redknapp & Storrie at Pompey . All I mean is I think that I think there is a bit more to this than the mackay PR would have us think.
  8. Gary medel offered to clubs for 6m and Cardiff (moody & mackay ) paid 11m for him , so maybe there is a little bit more to this story than the standard "loony owner wants run club " . Only a few broadsheet journo's like Rory smith from the Times running it though so it's easier to just stick to letting Arry redknapp tell us "it's a disgrace "
  9. Everything green seems to do is carried out in the full glare of the media spotlight that he seems to relish , this seems more of the same . There is the need for debate but each side sniping & digging at each other to a watching audience many of whom will love the airing of the clubs dirty linen would seem a massive mistake . For me this club has a lot more dignity than that . That said I imagine this is just another throwaway soundbite uttered to create a bit more media intention.
  10. Before they existed you had a working class lad with little or no education sat with his father who was often no different negotiating a deal with a succesful businessman , players were bullied and bamboozled and were traded like pieces of meat. Obviously I can see the point it's swung too far but you can argue that the players deserve their share possibly more than the clubs chairman .
  11. But managers have them themselves whilst clubs use them on almost every deal, not just the players agent but third party agents to facilitate deals. I think agents are convenient bad guys , when players leave its just easier to blame the 'evil' agent whose made the player leave when the reality is the agent works for the player not the other way around. There is good and bad in every section of society so clearly there are unscrupulous agents out there but they now operate in many cases almost as scouts as well as facilitators. Have a read how chris samba ended up at Blackburn an agent (who also worked for rangers bringing in jelavic ) basically contacted a host of premier clubs who weren't interested until Blackburn took a look and made a huge profit on the deal when they sold him on whilst Samba's club did ok out it.
  12. Not just you mate and I'm delighted its not just me thinking that, in fact it seemed obvious to me. What an absolute cracker of a fight that was, fantastic old school entertainment Regardless of comparing the ability of boxers I don't think I've ever seen a British fighter take on a run of top class contests like Froch has over the last couple of years, he's spent that time in world title bouts without the slightest hint of avoiding or ducking anyone . For that alone Froch deserves credit .
  13. Thankfully it seems that this was either just rubbish or some kind of betting coup , the sense of feeling against this character getting the everton job is frightening . Never mind he has little real stand out managerial experience other than admittedly the decent cup shock result in Europe , the statistically worst SPL champions record aside but his frankly despicable character means he'd almost certainly drag everton into the same kind of shite Suarez does to Liverpool but without the ticks in the positive column. However confident I am it won't happen I'll be delighted when the story goes away .
  14. A lot of rumours that very early in the season his people (family apparently ) were pushing for bigger wages based primarily on his explosive form when he signed , whether the two factors are related is I'd assume up for speculation. I honestly don't think you could appreciate how poor he's been , especially recently , without watching him live . From his touch , to movement , shooting just general control it's clearly all over the show. Now whether a new manager coming him might give him the boost he needs is again up for debate but I believe west ham , who were I'm sure you'll remember were interested when he moved to goodison , are also closely monitoring the situation.
  15. I can certainly see that mate but surely failing to watch or question those than run the club is what got rangers into trouble in the first place ? My worry is if you'll just lie or bullshit to make a point or protect your profile what else will you lie to achieve ?
  16. I signed up at the height of your difficulties to show some support for rangers and you lads . I'm effectively an outsider albeit one with a lot of love for rangers . Just my thoughts maybe from that position , I totally understand the ' circle the wagons' mentality but this is not reflecting well on the club. I've just watched the STV interview online and read this thread also I have to rely unfortunately on some of the radio Scotland stuff . Being totally honest the whole situation looks messy and doesn't reflect well on a great club but just as importantly Charles Green isn't coming across well at all for me . At best he's a bullshitter but at its worse he's dishonest . I can assure you im not here to have a pop at this Great Club and Lets hope the whole situation can be resolved but in my opinion it's a mess.
  17. I'm absolutely delighted with developments but even happier for you fellas. I know how it feels to be literally given a kicking and then be the one facing charges but I also know how it feels to be vindicated. I'm sure none of you ever will but don't forget the faces of those smug bastards as they pontificated and talked about 'financial doping' & 'title stripping' , where exactly are they and their bastions of sporting integrity clubs ? Well unlike rangers their dying and frankly which of us care ? I would have had utmost sympathy for the fans of any club that was suffering but for the SPL clubs that behaved like a collective baying mob , fuck em. Well done the Gers
  18. I wouldn't expect nor want him to drop his pound in the tin to buy his own poppy but his employer put a poppy on their shirts to show respect and he couldn't even show enough common decency to wear it silently . Disrespectful plain and simple
  19. I do know what you mean but he was almost the 'father' of the modern European Ryder cup and former best mate of the captain as well as being involved on a 'inspirational' level at previous competitions and this is the first since his death at a fairly young age. I imagine it's very easy to fall into spouting the clichés or getting caught up in all the emotion .
  20. I'm with you on that , they've found against him by using his claim he repeated the sentence he thought he heard and that just seems a ridiculous way to use the rules against him. As he'd been acquitted they couldn't really use the initial allegations against him so they seemed to have 'pulled a fast one' , the whole thing from start to finish is all a bit distasteful for me.
  21. I think boxers coming from loses tend to look for a really winnable fight and from that point of view I can see the sense it makes. It's only my opinion but khan has slipped from being really highly rated to be heavily criticised on the back of the defeats and people talking of his career being over so for me a tougher fight would maybe have sent the 'don't write me off message' if you can see what I mean ?
  22. I take that mate but I thought he'd be trying to send a message and that he was back , the mcloskey fight would have been an absolute bore fest in my opinion
  23. Basically untested youngster with no power doesn't seem much of a comeback 'send a message' type fight to me
  24. Although Paulie has improved after stepping up in weight he's never been a puncher so the damage he caused is quite telling however for me this is no walkover and a much tougher fight than I thought he'd open his comeback with.
  25. Great result against the supposed firm team , well done lads
