  1. Can I come out from behind the couch now.
  2. He lived in Chapelhall (Airdrie ) for a spell when he was with us. Bumped into him one morning in the newsagents. If I remember right he got dogs abuse and hassle from the local tims and eventually moved away.
  3. Cheers mate. Does sound a better deal. Didn't fancy a full meal around 11 am.
  4. I've got hospitality for this game. How do they do this on an early kick off. Do we get the meal after the game?
  5. Anyone else think this is just an attempt by Liewells puppet to deflect the Celtic woes off the back page.
  6. Would it not have gone to oldco and therefor been used to pay a dividend to the creditors
  7. My kids have booked me hospitality for this game. (60th Birthday). Anyone know what happens if it's an early kick off. Do they feed us after the game or do we end up having our dinner at 10 or so in the morning.
  8. Am I missing something here. 6 months into a 3 year contract the club just simply cancel the contract. Why the hell then did we have to pay off the contracts of the players we got rid of.
  9. Googled Celtic state aid and came across this cracker from Feb 2012. It's from a site CQN ( Celtic Quick news) Oh the irony State aid advocates ready to help Rangers 17th February 2012 588 Quite apart from this week’s admission by First Minister, Alex Salmond, that he has been arguing with HM Revenue and Customs to “for goodness sake get a settlement” with Rangers, I continue to receive reliable assurances that HMRC are coming under pressure from all political angles to effectively offer state aid to Rangers FC PLC (in administration). In short, if HMRC acquiesce, Rangers will have their debt zeroed and will be out of administration with only their 10 point penalty to show for years of financial doping. Fifa guidelines explicitly prevent governments from interfering in football. State aid to any one club is about as explicit a contravention of Fifa rules as there can be. This jeopardises the places of Scottish clubs in next season’s European competitions and could lead to the Scotland national team being banned from the World Cup qualifying group, due to start later this year. It is the SFA’s job to insist that all state intervention in football stops immediately. I urge you to write to the SFA chief executive, Stewart Regan,stewart.regan@scottishfa.co.uk and Uefa president, Michel Platini via his PAmarion.haap@uefa.ch, asking them to take immediate action to stop all state interference in Scottish football. Celtic have an excellent chance of Champions League football next season and we don’t want politicians of any colour getting Scottish teams banned from international competition. The silence of the SFA on the subject, despite extensive media coverage, is very disconcerting. It’s time for you to play your part in these important times.
  10. Definitely paving the way for compassion for them when they get humped for their dodgy land deals.
  11. If it was us and them in the final at the piggery would we get 30K tickets
  12. BBC website now reporting this. Looks like the tide is finally turning.
  13. 26,000. All bears. The Russians weren't allowed out of their country at that time
  14. Oh yes they are. Oh no they're not. DR website now saying they have backed down and are allowing flags and banners.
  15. Was there not some sort of statement saying that a hundred or season ticket holders for that area were moved to other parts of the ground. Suppose this means they'll all be back together again assuming they were ever moved in the first place.
  16. Count me in. I'll be there. Already voted by post. Looks like I backed a winner.
  17. Drove up this afternoon and staying tonight in the Ibis budget at the Kingston Bridge. Interesting place. Looking forward to tomorrow. My first ever agm.
  18. Would be interesting to see the average crowd represented as a percentage of capacity.
  19. The BBC reported a "substantial" six figure sponsorship by Irn Bru. So giving them the benefit of a maximum six figure sum, that's £999,999 between 42 clubs ie £23,809 each. Whoopy doo. Or more likely £900k to Celtic and the balance shared out by all the other clubs.
  20. Got mine today and I intend to be there. Where are they actually holding the meeting as it just says Ibrox Stadium. Can see far too many shareholders turning up for an indoor meeting so got to assume it will be in the stadium.
  21. Or the guys outside the ground at full time flogging the early edition of the Evening Times ( Pink edition if my memory serves me right). Errza half time results and the racessss. That's right you youngsters we got match reports up to half time on the other games plus racing results up to about 4pm. No radio Clyde etc then to give you the full time results elsewhere.
  22. According to the BBC Scotland website text commentary of the game they did indeed set off flares prior to the game starting. Hopefully another UEFA fine heading their way.
  23. Surely they wouldn't have any players if they went down the liquidation route. Their players could do the same as our traitors did and just walk for nothing ............ or would rules be changed?
  24. I still can't find any mention that Rangers were playing last night on the BBC Scotland website. Had there been one ounce of trouble do you think it would have gone unreported as well? ....... Nah didn't think so
