He’s just turned 21, he’s probably bench level at the moment, but there’s plenty of scope for him to continue his improvement.
Always amazed on here so many think you’re as good as you’ll ever be at 21 🤷♂️
I get this but also - you need constant game time at that age if you are going to develop, our ability to get young players decent level football on loan is awful.

Yeah, it is his first season, but we can’t just assume he’ll be better next season. If he’s to be a regular starter he’ll need to kick on huge amount. Most good wingers have loads of pace and/or a skill that can take apart full backs - Ross unfortunately, has neither, and I think that will count against him long term. He does, though, seem to have a good attitude, and I don’t think he’ll go missing like some wingers do, when they’re having a tough game.
Oscar Cortes is a year younger than Ross but limited time I've seen him suggests he's already at or ahead of Ross in performance.

Yeah they said that then 10 minutes later said it was an injury. Still injured enough to be missing this weekends game.
Or suspended internally. As others have said, got to punish that but I'm sure some were happy he did it.

A man who has had his competence and integrity questioned on more than one occasion.
Quite clearly the outstanding candidate for the position.
You have to wonder at the decision making, clearly someone thinks he's outstanding as a Referee. The mind boggles. The only thing perhaps going for him is every set of fans think he is shit.
Edit: Perhaps everyone took a step back when asking for volunteers? =)

He's not exactly down when he now has the influential role in the organisation that now recruits, trains, promotes and matchday selects the referees next season and into the future.
He's likely to want more like him - infer what you will from "like him".
Just like in business or government, shit people hire shit people. It becomes a race to the bottom because they can deal with being challenged by people that report to them.

As much as I think PC is struggling to convince us he has a style or plan, we have to remember this squad has got 2 managers sacked and on course to get a third.
We need to clear out the dead beats and start again but PC will be judged on the start next season. He could be out a job early doors.
-
I'm willing to give PC the benefit of the doubt, he's stuck by senior players hoping they can do the job. They failed. He'll probably still stick by them because of the SC final, he's going to get himself sacked unless he wins it.
If he guts the squad for the SC final and we lose, I wouldn't care as he's shown those the door that need to. If he sticks by the losers and they lose again, he can join them in the summer.

So red card for Sterling should have been yellow, noone is surprised other than Don Robertson.
Kilmarnock's penalty for Lundstram hand ball which gave them an opening lead, should have been overtturned.

Lawrence is the worst of the lot
I know but our left is non existent, Lawrence might be ok if Cantwell is not in the way. We have very limited choices.

There's an easy explanation why he gets game time. Did you see the bench today? With Sima injured (and Matondo who is pish as well) we don't have anyone else. MaCausland is a poor right winger but today proved that he's even worse on the left. There are simply no other options so will get even more game time from now until the end of the season. The squad is in a sorry state in a number of positions.
I'd play Cantwell on the left, Dessers up front, McCausland right and Lawrence in behind. Midfield is 2 of Lundstram. Diomande and Sterling. Our left is fucked and Cantwell can play there.

It's the hope that kill us. If we gave it all, left it all on the park, showed heart and desire, fight and never surrender but ultimately came up short, I could accept that, disappointing as it would be.
But this shower of shite crumble before a ball is kicked. They honestly disgust me.

I don’t buy the excuse the players are not good enough, or the tactics. This is the same group that qualified for last 16 in Europa league.
The issue is mentality and pressure. They lack belief and mental strength.

We win all our games, possiblity we win the league, wtf?
I believe in these players, wtf?
I'm starting to think Big Phil lacks the testicular fortitude to deal with these charlatans.

Sadly I think Clement isn't as Ruthless as we first thought.
I understand protecting the team after Sundays performance just to keep them on side and push them on for the midweek game (much use that was) but tonight he has totally sided with the players and spoke a lot of lies and nonsense to the fans.
Yep, after tonight they've stuck the knife in his back. He should have slaughtered them all, dropped them and played the kids. Then we could have got behind him for next season.

Wow, just wow. Absolutely mental take on the game.

With a half fit squad with youth players rounding it out, we matched them. Took the chuckle brothers in Walsh and Beaton to make sure they got out of jail.
Clement needs backed but once again the refs have handed the filth another easy route to £50m.
