Says it all about the way we are refereed in this country that we see officials making the correct call as luck

I think we have technical players who don't get the credit they deserve. Tavs and Kent for example. They are by no means perfect but they thrive on the Euro stage because they are competing at a higher level and can develop their skills against better opposition. They thrive on the challenge.
Total opposite from playing in Scotland where they are chopped in half 6 times a match by brutal teams and refs don't protect them. Sad to say it but Scottish football is falling behind more each season. Players are not protected by the officials and most opposition teams seem set on using physicality and gamesmanship to avoid proper football being played.
 

I know folk don’t “want to sound like tarriers” complaining about officials but if one (or more) of those offside goals last night was allowed that would’ve completely changed the game. Similarly if the penalty wasn’t given.
Take that to the Motherwell game (and say what you want about not losing a 2 goal lead) but if Morelos’ not-offside goal wasn’t chopped off 3-0 has a different complexion to 2-0 and I don’t think Motherwell would’ve come back from that. There’s 3 point right there.
It’s a bit trite but goals change games a correctly or incorrectly given or not given goal can have a massive impact.

Just in the past month things would be far different with VAR in the league
The penalties and red cards at Tannadice and the last offside against Morelos cost us 4 points and top spot as well as chalking off their winner at Pittodrie. That's a 6 point swing in the space of a couple of weeks.
Playing parked busses is difficult and not helped by poor officials and oddly enough in our last 4 we have dropped 4 points while playing well and took full points with our poorer performances at StJohnstone and v the sheep
If the players bring the commitment and the fans pump up the atmosphere we will do this
There's only 3 home games left in the league and we need to make sure Ibrox is bouncing in all 3. Tarriers game should look after itself anyway
The away support will be knock it out the park as always

Also, I feel like I spend half my time on here slating refs - it was so refreshing to actually have a decent officiating team last night. They got practically every decision spot on (I don't think Kent was a penalty but VAR gave that I guess) and they let the game go so much. Loads of really physical duels and battles between both sets of players and the ref was willing to let it go - it made for a really fluid game

It just shows what we can do when teams don’t park the bus as in every other league game we play
 
And we have efficient officials

One thing though those officials were a breath of fresh air compared with the corrupt cunts in Scotland

 I’m pleasantly surprised as I’d feared they’d be another Slavia falling about like dickheads. This feels like a man’s game.
The lads need to up the aggression a wee bit.

You don't sack a manager who has came in the middle of a season who's had a great run in Europe and not had a pre-season with HIS players, some of the poor performances are down to the players and attitude, you don't run over teams like Dortmund then struggle like fuck in the league, it's down to hunger attitude and fight and sadly some of our players lack the fight and hunger required in this tinpot league of ours. Gio won't be sacked if we don't win the league but some of the fans may turn on him.

This is the first proper title race since 2011, the past 10 seasons have seen the winners pretty much coast to the title. They had to work harder to manipulate the vote for 8.75 than they did for any of their previous 8.
My point is that none of the current squads have experienced the pressure that will be present in the next 8 games. There's a world of difference between coasting to the inevitable versus the intensity that's coming now.
Both teams are capable of putting together 8 game winning streaks (or 10 as it would be given we're both on 2 already). My guess is we will both drop points, probably when least expected. If "the breaks" even themselves out we should have a few bits of "luck" due and their luck should run out - I wouldn't hold my breath though. The only way we're going to win this is by eliminating the influence of officials by playing at our best and finding a killer touch.
Ironically over our past 4 games our best 2 performances (Dundee United and Motherwell) have seen us drop points and our 2 poor performances have brought full points. 
Give me 8 ugly wins all day long, lots of football to play, lots of twists and turns to come.
As fans we have a huge role to play in backing the team and I'm sure we will. My one hope is that it's decided by good/bad play and not by incompetent (or otherwise) officials. They've already made too much of a difference this season

Compare the tarrier form now to when gerrard was here, gios record is barely different from the teams record earlier this season, tarriers have dropped 4 points in 16 games, thats the difference

We lost 9 points before december, infact we had lost 9 points before he arrived 

Before he arrived we had taken 78% of available points, since he's arrived weve taken 77% of available points, thats after going away to hearts, hibs, tarriers, sheep and livi, 5 grounds we didnt go to once before he arrived
Before he arrived we were averaging a bawhair over 2 goals a game, gio has hit 1.875 goals per game
Before he arrived we were conceding roughly a goal a game in the league, since he's arrived weve dropped to 0.6 goals per game and thats with toughet fixtures
The biggest reason for the league change is that before he arrived the tarriers had dropped more points to livi than they have in all games since he joined, think thats something like 44 points they have taken since gio arrived, thats title winning form wether we want to admit it or not
