    There is a reason why their bad spell co-incided with his injury.

    Hate to say it but that just may have been our best chance to win the league for some time.  
    Rodgers has bought some breathing space - and with guaranteed CL cash  and maybe 20 million for O'Riley - will no doubt be strengthening the squad. 
    Financially, we can't compete - and in the end that will more often than not  be the telling difference.

    Incidentally, today showed the need for away fans in this fixture. The second half was played in almost total silence - doesn't help the spectacle when the game is already poor quality.
