Our strongest team has loads of players who aren’t anywhere good enough, and the so called squad players obviously aren’t much better, so my worry is a load of them show up well in a load of meaningless games and just catfish people into thinking they are any good and we keep them around.

Yeh can’t work it out. On the one hand we give them too much respect. On the other people want to throw everything out the window and start players in positions they’ve never played before, in new partnerships with no training. 

It will be Goldson and Davies and anything other would just be inviting more mistakes. So many mistakes in defence come from lack of communication, confidence and familiarity.
