I like a laugh and have the occasional bit of needle with some guys on here (you know who you are) but one thing I could never argue with them about is their absolute passion and love for Rangers. I do not like the emotive language that Dave King has chosen in the statement; not one bit. But I do not trust and have no great love for some of the current board either. To coin a phrase, often used by us about players, the Brothers Easdale are not 'Rangers Class.'
Like any Rangers fan, because of the past couple of years, I wield a shield of scepticism... and it is a heavy shield. Sometimes it can be a weary burden. We all want the same thing... so if we can have these differences of opinion and still remain brothers with the same ultimate aim, then perhaps we can move forward, even a little, as a fanbase.
This trend I see on here of wishing (almost willing) someone to be wrong about these huge issues just to point-score is starting to become pathetic. The very fabric of our great club hangs by these issues. So, let's keep the raging, flaming pseudo-telekinesis by keyboard at a minimum.

Interesting read from Alex Rae in Sportinglife.com earlier today. For me, this sums up just how difficult Ally's job has been in this most turbulent of times. So all you who seem to take great enjoyment slating a true legend while he deals with the circus that has been looming around our club, have a wee think before you criticize

Great game, it took a wee while to get going I think confidence was a little low after last week. However when the first goal went in I thought we were going to have a good game. I thought Ian Black finally had a good game and a goal and a man of the match to boot. I thought Barrie was great bombing down the park and was delighted to see Andy Mitchell getting on. Good game, good result, onwards and upwards and couldn't dream of it without Ally, what a legend.

OP, I think the least Ally McCoist deserves is a bit of time to learn and progress as a manager. After everything he has given us, do you not think he deserves that?
