  1. All for it. Think it adds to the experience and it's another way for the support to show their passion for the club.

My father-in-law has COPD so I understand some concerns to an extent but on the two occasions we were in it the UB laddie nearest us gave a heads up and offered to move if needs be. Think that's fair and allowed the auld yin to pull his scarf up, at least.

Some folk won't take the same stance which is up to them, but I think there's an element of pearl-clutching going on with some of the comments and overreactions. Plus, that's obviously magnified because of the nationalist-run cesspit we live in.

If he is in fact a forum reader he must have very thick skin.

As previously stated his background team are a laughing academy whereas Gio's staff walked into top clubs in Europe. After being dismissed.

Probably very petty, but Watling in particular does my nut in. Lad doesn't seem qualified enough to take U15s but here he is, in our dugout and with Rangers on his CV. Incredible.

Loved him waving his hands about like a magician just before the corner the sheep scored from. Don't think he got up again after that.

If people expect nine players to gel immediately, they are delusional. I've said all along this takes time.

While I get your point, we've barely played nine new players at any given time. I'd suggest a bigger reason they've not gelled yet is because the manager keeps chopping and changing his approach, if there is one.

Do I think Beale is the answer? I sway towards yes.

Why? He's not shown any consistent system or plan. He continually gives Scottish teams too much respect and over complicates things. There's nothing to suggest that he's going to go on and sweep everything up.

He lost an Old Firm game to a disallowed goal. Reverse that decision, and after a Feyenoord loss, Rodgers is in a similar position.

Can't be doing with this. "If this decision went that way, this decision went another way", etc. There's controversial decisions in every game. Perhaps if the manager could implement a system and get his signings to create and take chances, we'd have won anyway.

Win the next three games, and fickle supporters will be back on board.

Winning games tends to get supporters on board, fickle or not. I don't think it's being negative however to be skeptical that this manager and team can consistently do that; based on the season so far it's realistic to be cautious.

When I see suggestions like Warnock, Martindale & McInness, I know some fans don't have a clue.

Not going to argue with that  but it's all about opinions.

I'm not convinced by Beale's backroom staff, but I'm one of the few who still believe in Beale, the coach.

Fair enough. I'm far from convinced on the lot.

Beating Betis the way we did tells me the players are behind the manager.

Great result against Betis but I think some are getting carried away with the performance, personally. It was an improvement but far from great.

When he realizes that Dessers & Matondo are not the answer and he plays Danilo, Roofe, and Lawrence.

Had high hopes for Danilo but haven't seen anything yet, frankly. Dessers appears to have been Beale's number one target too, so I'm not sure he'll be giving up on him anytime soon.

May be heat of the moment but for me, it doesn't matter who Beale picks as ultimately they're still playing his non-existent system that produces absolutely nothing. We are chronically slow and lacking in imagination. Goals and results will not come, while that's the case, regardless of who he picks.

In terms of competitive football yes ever. If we where in that draw tomorrow I'd expect to finish 4th despite being in pot 3 because literally everything would be against us. The europa will still be hard but the gap ain't as vast as we showed 2 years ago.

Finishing fourth in a Champions League group is one thing, but we can do that without conceding five to PSV, seven etc. to anyone else (like last season). Not being Champions League level is one thing, but getting fucking destroyed is another.

Anyway - probably the drink and frustration speaking, so agree to disagree I guess. Just scunnered.

There's no doubt we are slipping further and further away from that level

What's more confusing is the teams with less facilities etc are now holding their own in the competition

You've said it better than I've managed in three posts; we shouldn't be getting absolutely pumped at this level, especially when the goals regularly come from basics

That's just a fact that's not our level

    Ever, though? As you said?

There's "smaller" clubs than us, with less budget etc., not getting absolutely embarrassed like we did tonight and last season, but we've to just accept it's not and will never be our level?

Again - I'm just making the suggestion that we should be able to participate without getting scudded.
