Due to that start I think it’s a difficult game to over analyse as the game narrative is set with us chasing trying to play naturally and them pressing as they know we are rattled.

Yesterday ended up a crazy game to assess because of how early they scored, from that 25 seconds in we are chasing a game from our mistake and they can hit us on the counter with the pace and press of their front 3, VAR got involved on a couple of occasions to benefit both sides with penalties and we ended up after 90 minutes no worse off but scored 3 goals in 45 minutes against them when in the first half we couldn’t string 3 passes together.
Worry about ifs buts and maybes when they schedule the next OF game, we need to focus and concentrate on two massive games this week to make sure we are two points clear at the top going into the split fixtures.

Lawrence is better coming off the bench for us right now.
We have options back in attack that means Sterling can be used in midfield to give us the option of playing a 4-3-3 than 4-2-3-1 as with the two of Lundstram and Diomande recently we have lost control of games and it’s been a bit frantic.

The OP about Tav been finished is pish but I don’t know what the fuck him and the defence were thinking, including Butland with the time they were taking when they know that Maeda, Furuhashi and Hatate are all very good at pressing the play, especially after the freak goal.
 

Their press is everything ours should be but isn't.  It was a freak, fluke goal to get a goal from the deflection but you get those rewards if you keep trying. Same with closing down keepers and actually trying to win the ball not just go through motions. Butland got lucky a couple of times yesterday not to get caught out.
 

The more times I have seen it the more I also give credit to Maeda for chasing that down and getting himself round the side of tav to block his clearance. Tav 100% was caught out and should have taken the easy option back to Butland. But that ball could've went anywhere off Maeda with how hard Tav blasts it. 

Sterling is better in midfield. That’s where his long term future should lie.

No point bothering about who might hypothetically take points off them. It's in our hands. Focus on us. We win our matches and avoid defeat against them and we win it. 

If it was St Mirren from earlier in the season and they were closer to Kilmarnock for Europe maybe but even Robinson has admitted they are in poor form and with nothing to play for it would be a bit of a shock.

Thought the game was nervy at times, both teams looked a bit slow, probably due to it being first game after the break.
Dessers did well today but should still have scored a couple more, good subs at the right time in the game for extra energy.
Only negatives were a piss poor goal to concede and a fucking disaster of a ref performance, the standard is beyond a joke.
