laugh all you want but i want a captain whos a winner not someone who greet and says he cant handle the pressure
but if you're happy with that then you are indicative of the fans that want mediocrity and second place
the days of us coming up the leagues to be rescued by a tav freekick or penalty are gone we need to move on

We gave it up ourselves, we had it in the palm of our hand and it took Tav less than a minute to set the narrative of how it was going to pan out, until we're rid of these players nothing will change.

As much as I'll defend Clement at the moment, there is just no imagination. Get other people on set pieces, try going two up try battering a few of them. I mean try something different because this just isn't working at all, whatever 'this' is.

Clement if he keeps any of Lundstrum, Barasic, Goldson, Tav for next wmyear will be gone pre Christmas.
This collapse doesn't look good for him at all - irregardless of the squad and injuries and excuses.
If off form they don't play how is that such a issue all the time for us.

Silva just jogging around and letting them cross that in for their goal.

Silva stopped marking his man who was then given the ball back and plenty of time to line up a cross.

Right VAR, what’s wrong with that?

Is that not obstruction therefore an indirect free kick or does that not happen anymore?

If silva gets blocked like that in midfield it’s a free kick.

Neither did Johnson, the cross was too high. If that's a foul there would be 5 fouls per corner.

Has all the hallmarks of the Johnston handball that was supposedly not given because sima was offside but they never gave that free kick they gave a goal kick as if it never touched Johnston.
The problem is if you try to make up justifications after the event it doesn’t usually make sense as we are seeing here.

The question remains why Robertson didn’t blow for the (non-existent) foul immediately. You don’t carry on playing advantage to a team defending with half the opposing team in their penalty box.
Extremely suspicious imo

That's exactly what I was thinking with this Aberdeen decision.
What Don Robertson did was essentially the opposite of the advantage rule. He let the fouling team play on essentially. I think that's pretty bonkers and somewhat unworkable.
I understand it's similar to the offside situation, but linesman letting it play out is because VAR can decide factually if it's on/off if the end result is a goal or penalty.
A ref doing it doesn't make sense to me, because he's not going to leave the decision of a foul in the build-up up to VAR, there needs to be an on-field ruling, and the likelihood is that VAR is very unlikely to overrule that on-field decision of a foul. So letting play run on was entirely pointless.

The Dortmund one was a disgrace and so was the Dessers one, it happens all over Europe multiple times again and it's never classed as a foul. Celtic got a penalty against Hearts doing the same thing but worse.

Letting the play run on is only supposed to apply to offside unless it's to play an advantage.
