watched the game when I got home from work. Never as bad as when watching live, by the way. We werent great but we were nowhere as bad as the comments suggest. Lammers and Dessers were extremely poor for the most part. We just look like a team that is adjusting to a new way of playing That means falling back on bad habits. We won a game that we would have lost a couple of weeks ago. Thats progress. Most posters on here have said that they would accept "progress". This is it.. we have now clawed back a couple of points. Five points. The leauge is ours

Hi, I don't know much about football, and I know even less about forums, this is the first one I've been on. I worked with Ben for the last few years and have ended up here following some of the comments from the just giving. I have cried reading all the words of support and love on this thread and the fundraiser and wanted to say thank you for putting it together. It's done so much to bring people together in this time of need and its a great suggestion to arrange something at ibrox & donate to several charities. 
Ben always talked about this forum but downplayed his role significantly. I can see what a beautiful community this is. I just wish Ben were here to see how loved, cared for and well thought of he was, and that this too shall pass. 

Mate never feel bad about that, everyone has different stuff going on in their life, you can make a difference in other ways so that’s all that matters.

Really wish I could donate to this but unfortunately I'm a bit hard up for money at the minute. Been signed off work for the last 3 weeks with mental health issues, so this kind of hit me a bit. 
What I would say to anyone who feels they are struggling, or not feeling themselves lately is to get help. Go to your doctor, talk to friends and family, talk to your boss. Use the mind matters forum (I don't post there much but I've had a good read recently, it helps to know that there are many people out there affected by these issues)There is help available for all who need it. I shrugged it off for too long and it put me down a hole. 
Ben's passing has made me really think about my life going forward and changes I need to make to be healthy, and for that I'm grateful. Sleep well Ben x

Hope all is well.
As a banned member I thought I’d sign up, as I want to give my condolences to young Bens family and friends at this sad and difficult time.
I only met Ben once or twice watching Rangers through the years, also knowing him for years on the forum, it’s so sad hearing about his untimely and sudden death. Ben was only a few years older than my son, so I suppose it’s got a chord with me. He was an absolute diamond of a fella, sometimes we didn’t see eye to eye on here, but so what it’s the internet ffs. 
 
on another note, if the forums admin wanted to do a raffle/football card/auction to help raise funds, I have a match worn Mark Hately top from the 92/93 season that I won at an auction,  I’d be happy to hand over to the forum to help raise funds. If any help is needed at all, no matter how small I’d be happy to help. cheers.
