I never really spoke to Ed on here. Seems to have been a well thought of guy. Lesson there, we might not all get along or ever actually meet but this is a community of people who have something excellent in common. We forget that too often.

This year I’ll march in the Somme Day Parade

To remember those men of old.

They left these lands, and their families and homes.

To fight in the mire and the cold.

They left all their jobs with hammers and pens.

And went off with bayonet and gun.

To fight against a man they knew nothing about.

Kaiser Wilhelm and his German H**.

Fathers. Young sons. Brothers. All men.

Went off to the fighting in France.

And when they were told to go “over the top”.

The casualties ne’er stood a chance.

They fought for a cause that is noble and true.

    Even after all these years.

They fought for what’s right. And for Liberty.

They died in their blood sweat and tears.

And so as I march with my medals worn proud.

I’ll keep in step with the drum.

With my heart soaring high and a lump in my throat

I’ll remember where those men came from.

They came from the very same streets we came from.

They walked the very same lanes.

They went to the very same churches and pubs.

They sang the same songs and refrains.

So, when I walk these roads to remember these folk.

(For, my Granda was one of these men).

I’ll remember the shout “Faugh An Ballagh”.

And I’ll cheer on the Oul 36th.

They are the rc church here, created to stop their poor from converting to Protestant when the Church of Scotland started feeding and aiding their punters, charity begins at rome as they say.

In the 70s they were H*** cause of their love of their homeland and its support of the nazis. Ie harbouring subs etc.. and not the kind that sat on a bench. Nazis were all taigs so you sort of get an underlying theme.

I defo remember" Go home ya H***" belted out by the full Rangers support at the scum streaming out of the ground after we had beaten them, just how that got turned on its head and directed our way is a mystery to me.

Where do these timmigrants come with the term "h*n"? See they're calling Alex McLeish "a h*n".
They attempt to steal everything and believe if they say it often enough, it will become factually correct.
The Liverpool fc anthem - what's all that about - you'll never walk alone, (unless we can join in & steal your song, pish)
Back to the "h*n" - when I was a wee kid, 70's & 80's and since 1914 in fact (WWI) the timmigrants were referred to as the "h*n" every Rangers game against those homesick oirishmen (even tho' they'd never actually been there) - it was belted out, "Go home ya' h*ns, go home ya' h*ns go home" - because the kaffliks fenians supported the German's during 2 World wars.
So there you go any fenian's reading in or any Rangers supporter/Protestant that may not know.
They're the h*ns - We Are The People.
