Going to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he had just polished off a 6 pack before he did that.

My Father in law had me goggling the prize money for winning the tournement when we went 1-0 up.

Spartak were there for the taking twice and we could/should be qualified already. Even if we took 4 points from them they would effectively be out and we'd be 4 clear of Rapid with 2 games to play.
Instead we took a single point from 2 games against Spartak that were, in hindsight, very winnable games so I think we've fucked it.

Bring him home. 1 goal against the tims is all he needs to guarantee himself a future commentary spot on Rangers TV, regular appearances for the rising stars draw, a place on the legends team, ownership of a Rangers themed pub on PRW, a book deal (titled Viva Carlos!) and as much hospitality as he can get down his neck.
