Was great for a spell there, but when it's do or die Tav doesn't even show up. 
Maeda goal last week, 2nd and then 3rd today. 
Was the same last season too.
He will never lift the league as captain again. Never a winner. 

I get age and mileage on the player, I can understand he’s lost a step and a little quality.
But this is two massive games in a row where the captain has not been ready to play when the first whistle sounded. Ross County should have been ahead in the first minute same as septic. 

Its not physical stuff that ruins his performance, its his mentality along with the likes of goldson etc
They have never ever coped with tarrier pressure in scotland, the one season they did, well we all know what happened then

Before his injury matondo was getting results coming on as sub when opposition legs were tired. We know it works. Stick with it. He is less affective as a starter in my view.

How about we just start playing at the kick off? That should do it.

Remember we tried that years ago with pushing him forward and sticking hodson at right back. 

He's looked slow for nearly 2 seasons now. He peaked in the Europa league  final season and has been on the downward trajectory since.

Yilmaz and Sterling. Two young athletic full back who also look like they have a bit of fight about them.

Sterling is ready to take over, we're holding his progress back.

But he's not that player anymore where he's always attacking.
He doesn't have the legs to get uo and down the park the way he used to.
The first goal was nothing to do with him being too far forward and out of position. 

Other positions do need addressing but this is one position where we have the answer available. 
It's holding Sterling progress back by not playing himin his best position. 
Give him a run of games at RB and he'll develop into an excellent player for us worth millions. 

He's done, i actually thought Tav was a decent defender at this peak. 
But since his pace has gone he's a liability. 

Again though today his only contribution is to convert a penalty, and if we are honest then every team should have at least 4 or 5 of their starting 11 who are confident enough to take a penalty

Tav is a great choice for domestic football.  He won't have to worry about defending vs Dundee in the next game and could well pop up with a goal or assist, odds-on I'd say.
 
But in the big game's, we need to defend and he's not good enough.  Maeda terrorised him in the first half by simply being faster.

Yet again we start absolutely awful, and have a half of football where vast majority were shite.  Somehow turned it around to the extent we could probably have won it.
Too many passengers 1st half, and subs who should have started.
Before the game a draw was a favourable result to them but not so sure it will still be seen that way given the game was theirs at half time then again with their late goal.
Need to now play the best players from the start each game, cut out needless errors, and be ruthless.

Looking nervy at the back and looks like an unpredictable wind, so we decide to just fire the ball back at Butland over and over again. Some of our players heads are just gone completely from the first whistle when we play this mob. 

Another fucking joke performance from this clown to add to the list of fucking disgraceful refereeing performances we’ve seen all season. 
No wonder the game is in the fucking gutter up here. Levitt should have been off for that tackle on Matondo at the end too. 

Were we still in the Europa, I'd be concerned, but to be honest this is a plus.  Half the team looked gubbed on Thursday so this was a potential banana skin, especially on a heavy pitch.
Yes it's annoying that we can't go straight back to the top, but it's the position at the end of the season that counts

Have heard that defence of him before and I accept that certain players get injured more than others but we are talking about a succession of injuries, one after another, a run longer than many players’ careers.
I think about guys like Butcher, Brown, big Marvin playing through knock after knock, giving (literally) blood, sweat and tears for the jersey and playing through the pain barrier.
John Souttar has ruptured both Achilles, one of them twice but his attitude has always been about getting back on the pitch as soon as he can. The contrast between him and Roofe is stark.
Now I don’t know the minutiae of every Roofe injury, partly because there’s so fucking many and partly because I get angry thinking about guys like Jordan White, less talented than Roofe so plies his trade at Ross County. Jordan is a diehard Bluenose and would walk from Dingwall for the chances that Roofe has had.
I find it incredibly hard to believe that Roofe has been unable to do the job he’s well paid for (for only a third of the time) because of injury for over a decade.
A couple of big blows, like Souttar, can happen but we’re talking months on end for injuries far, far less serious than ruptured Achilles.
Be so glad to see the back of him.
