Kemar Roofe

Recommended Posts

Given he knows he is out the door come the end of the season Im not convinced he is going to risk injury to run through a brick wall for us which is exactly what we need currently. We need players willing to push themselves to the limit.

Danilo looked like he was going to be that guy putting himself where it hurt and took a sore one for it. Dessers looks like he just isnt interested half the time and well he is just a bit pish. Basically we are fucked up front.

Roofe is finished at a high level. Injuries have followed him his whole career but it's blatantly obvious they've now got the better of him.

I won't call him pish because on his day he was a player and done his part for us domestically and in Europe but they days are sadly long gone.

Going for the title with him and Dessers as our only strikers gives me genuine fear.

He scored my all time favourite goal for Rangers, and made us worldwide news for that one piece of genius play.

Even though he's away at the end of the season, I don't doubt his commitment to us for a minute. Play him as you at least know 9 times out of ten he'll score the easy ones,  and may still have that bit of magic left when we really need someone to step up.

Unfortunately, on seeing him come back this time - I think he is done.

He was probably the best striker at the club (and I include even Morelos in saying that), but it's all one being a very good player if you're hardly ever fit enough to get a run of games. Never being fit is useless and we've been limited to seeing only bits of his class.

He really hasn't been a great signing.

I shudder to think of the wages and transfer fees we have wasted on players over the years.

Roofe was definitely the best striker at the club, but the injuries have taken their toll and it's right that he goes at the end of the season. Another in a long line of expensive and hopeful punts that hasn't worked out for us.

He’d injure himself running a bath, never mind through a brick wall.

I’d never start him, he’s only good for half an hour at best.

He'd get injured running through a wall of bubbles so I don't think we need to worry about bricks causing him an injury.
