No flies on you Wullie ..... on both the bold sentences mate ..... there will always be one who is prepared to give his pet rat the benefit of the doubt .... completely ignoring the fact that there is never ever just one rat .... as the others stay well hidden, but are still there nevertheless ..... and only kidding himself on that he has/will criticise when he thinks it is prudent to make out he is being balanced ... when the opposite of his argument is more and more evident ..... the more he writes ....

So back on topic though someone has tried to deflect again.
Craig Houston will not give up anything, will not be shamed into standing down and although I would say does not have the intelligence to have planned this long term, he has the rat cunning to take advantage of an opportunity.
Sadly he will only be gone when this board is.

The most convincing theory for me is that the agent (with or without permission of his clients) has gone into the board trying to strong-arm a position for them to leave without contractual compensation. This was fully in the belief that they had another job to walk in to. When that turned out not to be the case, he's gone back in with tail between his legs to recover the position, the board have checked the strength of their hand and told him to bolt. Whether Warburton and Co were party to the initial strong-arm tactic is up for debate.
In fairness to Warburton, I don't think there will be anything unusual about this in the job market he is used to (there isn't in mine). You get an offer from a company, use that offer to either move or strengthen your position in the company you're in.
My gut feeling is that the agent has fucked up and the management team are gone. You heard it here first fiftieth.

Lets just say in my younger days fans might have taken exception to another Rangers fan grassing them up, no matter what the subject was.  Who knows what might have happened.

I'll take that result any day of the week. Plenty of timessince I've been watching us we have been poor but scraped a win. When JG was manager we couldn't even scrape the wins and even Walters teams were outplayed often but managed a winner.
As long as they are still trying right up to the final whistle I don't mind when we get the winner. Mo Edu anyone.
I would give MW till at least the end of the season as I really believe he is putting systems in place in the kids, U20's etc which will benefit us in future. There is something not right in that midfield and we need a ball winner that does not mess about. This where I think the failure of Barton and the injuries to Rossiter has hurt us more than we realise. Difficult one but at the minute I'm still willing to give MW my support as without the cash to spend on class players what top manager would want to come to us.

If we were really interested in doing something positive about betting in this country we would stop taking sponsorship from them this is just another daft rule most footballers bet.

Every footballer has to responsibility not to bet - as ludicrous as that it.
Rangers have kept everything private and professional.
What exactly have the club done wrong and why would that deter future signings?

He's part of the problem though, because he was brought into a team that doesn't play to his style.
I've still to decide if Warburton wants us to play with his style or he's trying to change us for Barton and Krancjar.

Oh well, just what we need.
As for the many who kept demanding that we bring in a holding midfielder to cover up for the dross that would behind him, well there you fucking go!.
Like Barton makes everyone else shite and play like a bunch of pussies? McKay hiding like a shrinking violet. Our captain with inept runs and total loss of form. Like a run down on each and every one? Will we start with the keeper, eh? Fuck, some would have you believe Halliday and Holt are fucking Messi.
If some on here think that Barton was the problem for us being shite, which started last April and that him being gone will make much difference, we really do deserve all we get. He's older, he's slower, but he did captain the English Championship side and voted their top man. Now that doesn't give him a right to anything, he has to earn that respect, but look what the fuck he has got around him and look who he has got to protect ffs.
It's not the fucking player, it's the system and the lack of quality to play it. Who's job is it to motivate the players and if they need motivation to play the scum, we've lost it. We lost to a scum team that isn't that good and they didn't break sweat.
We can see the way this all going. Fuck wait till the next presser, if MW thinks they are cunts now?
We don't know the full story, nor do we condone unprofessional behaviour, but wake up and smell the coffee ffs. Our troubles run far deeper than Barton and he is far from being the worst of it.
