It’s the one thing that they do much better than us. Their turnover of players, for profit or just to get rid of them is night and day. In the same time we’ve had Tav and Goldson, theyve had about 6 different CB and RBs, all of which have been sold for profit or if they’re shite have been moved on very quickly. 
 
We just don’t have that foresight yet, especially with poorer players. Hopefully this summer is finally the start of the 3 year overdue clearance. 

We go on about the club not being serious about a player trading model but some of our fans really aren’t ready for it either.

They sell themselves more as a stepping stone to EPL club and seem to have players buy into signing contract extensions to get the scum a bigger fee when sold. Players likely use that higher salary in the last year to demand even higher from the club they go to. Unfortunately their buying and selling strategy works very very well for them.

Kinda vibe he gives already tbh. A poster said the other day some of the players act like they resent the pressure the fans and club demands. Goldson is the epitome of that.

Exactly this. He is even pointing to where he wanted the ball and then just makes a howler with his feet. It is absolutely shite but it is not a dive. 

They have signed a lot of shite over the years too, but they can afford it more than we can. Both financially and in terms of success. 
You can do it all over the park. We paid £3.5m for Lammers, they paid £1.5m for O'Riley. Vickers is probably the player with the biggest transfer fee in their team right now, but the vast majority of their starting 11 walk into our starting 11.

Yup. The might spend more than us each year but for the most part we both shop in the same transfer fee markets. It’s mind numbing some of the shite we’ve been lumbering on with for the past 8 seasons. Can’t get every transfer right but a success rate of about 2 in 10 just can’t continue when you’re main rival is hitting 5/6 out of 10 every season. 

They paid around 500k more for Abada than we paid for Matondo. They paid the same for Kyogo that we paid for Dessers. 
Our recruitment has been absolutely criminal. Koppen has to get it right because its been mismanaged for years. We don't have a lot of money and we've been pissing any we do have up a wall.

The point is we’ve played ourselves out a title race and it’s taken a new player in Sterling to publicly call them out and the manager dropping players like Goldson to have us playing with a lot more control. 
 
The damage is done in the league, all because we didn’t have the minerals for two straight games. That’s the galling thing, they turn it on and off at will.
