I agree.
I'm not sure of McAllister contribution on matdchdays.
Looks minimal to say the least.

Great stuff from Morelos, you can see how much he loves the game itself, and just being here.
Shame the rancid media can't highlight this side of his character.

Some of the bams in the press & even some ex players would say he should be seeing a shrink instead of out training.

Seems more like he's the one who both offers and is sought out for advice.
Maybe McAllister has fuck all to offer on matchday..
Our formation & style of play is based around Michael Beales way.
It was covered months ago on here, he bases his team on width, two wide players, attacking full backs etc etc
Looks to me like SG wholeheartedly trusts & believes in him & SG trains/picks the players to play in the Beale system.

Having a press conference before every game (currently 2 a week) is a waste of time. There is rarely anything new and they become stale and boring.
Think it’s a requirement in terms of the cup (or league) pre match build up.
Contractually the club are likely to be compelled to do a pc.
However, I would have preferred GM leading todays one.

This doesnt happen very often , sorry Stevie it does.......
Yeah, that’s what I thought as well.
The majority of home games we have an issue with something or other, he then makes comment afterwards re the tempo, mentality, discipline, quality, work rate and now egos.
I admire the honest way he seems to be addressing the players but he’s way off track with ‘doesn’t happen very often’ stuff.

Playing in front of the opposition/sideways passing tends to happen when teams sit in and we have little space to operate.
Our best performances are against teams that open up and leave space at the back for us to exploit.
St Johnstone are fairly well organised but we played into their hands today. The ref helped them by constantly stopping the game for nothing fouls which also prevented us getting things going.
imo in approximately 80% of our games over a season we are up against teams that sit in/deep in one way or another.
Alarming that we haven’t yet developed an answer to this problem.

Actually thought his distribution was okay today, one throw in particular that started a potential counter only for someone to take a bad touch and give away possesion. Done his job well today and the only one who gets a pass, maybe Kamara as well at a push it was an ok debut.
Yep that throw was the pass of the game, if that makes sense !

Played himself out the starting 11 yesterday.
Looks completely ill at ease in a Rangers jersey atm.

Looked at the training pics during the week with lots of carrying on & hard work.
Players looked to be enjoying it which is usually a positive sign.
The Managers pre game comments ‘make St Johnstone suffer for 90mins’ set the tone for a ‘ruthless & relentless’ performance.
Then that.
Woeful.

There's been about 4 games this season where we have been good to watch for the 90 mins, a few more where we've been good to watch in bits but the majority have been poor with the results papering over the cracks.
Agreed.
Sad but true.

How does that do anything?
Why would the BBC make a connection between a handful of people not paying their TV licence and what their Scottish football journalists put online?
Tbf I never mentioned anything about the connection or the journalists.
My point/suggestion is that if it annoys the OP enough then maybe he would feel better if he stopped paying for it.

As posted by others previously, the easiest answer is stop paying the licence fee (if you pay it in the first place)

Dont think i have disliked any ex player of ours, but Mcinnes has made it happen, he is just such a pathetic person you wonder how he got to play for us and especially in that era when the team was just about winning?
He was a decent player who fitted the criteria for what we needed at a particular time.
He’s ended up as their manager (thankfully not ours) & he’s their problem.
He uses his behaviour & comments as a distraction from the fact he’s not the manager he thinks he is or wants to be.
He’s well paid up there & his loyalty revolves around pound signs.

Ah ok,I do miss a lot of stuff. When clarke inevitably ends up with the taigs it will make an interesting rivalry with them doing the chasing to get back in touch. Saying that, I actually dont mind clarke too much but completely fucking loathe that slimy greasy brenda fuckwit. Makes ma fucking skin crawl!!
Agree, there’s something about Brenda that makes him completely distasteful.

Listened to this earlier. I hadnt realised clarke was a coach at liverpool until stevie mentioned it there. Think stevie handled the questions and the press with aplomb, as he always does. Proper class unlike clarke as he clearly pointed out.
SG talked recently about how much respect he had for Clarke from being coached by him at Liverpool & his dealings with him since he came to manage us.
How he was a proper football man who had played at a high level & was a great man manager & person.
I thought at the time it was a round about way of saying ‘Brenda is a dick & I’ve no time for him to be honest’.
Regardless, it makes what Clarke said all the more intriguing.

I wonder how much of a back hander Pedro got for this signing.
This is what irks me, the signing was for a lot of money (over 2m ?).
A few people made an awful lot of money as a result of it i.e. Pena, his agent & his old club & prob a few on the periphery.
His signing raises way more questions than answers.

Ach well Steve your player scored against us and broke the daft rules but broke them nonetheless, ran off the pitch, gestured after scoring, no card left him free to try and cripple Ryan Jack.
Fuck off two faced prick.
Just read the report of his press conference.
Think it’s fair to say there is a definite unbalanced level of coverage & comment on our club.

Sure I just heard that Steve Clarke on the radio news there making reference to the penalties & the inconsistency of refereeing.

Glad we’ve got Kamara & McCrorie.
Two promising players at the right age.
Different trpe of players whose usage should be determined by who & where we are playing.
