I know we're hurting at the moment but folk are absolutely losing the plot.
It's not tavs fault we've spunked millions upon millions of pounds on shite during the time he's been here. And particularly the signing of Beale as manager. He'll be hurting as well about how it's going.
If one of the first decisions the new manager makes isn’t sacking Tavernier as Captain, we have learned nothing.

Didn’t see the interview. But, it’s more about his contribution as a leader on the pitch than what he says in a post-match interview for me. He is not, and never has been a leader.

MB no doubt had the final say on both moves (Lowry and Lammers). It just highlights how poor his decision making was.

I’ve never understood this. Any player worth his salt could have a go at a free kick and strike a dead ball, and if you can’t take a throw in, then your the wrong sport.

What’s worrying, is that he surely must have identified the system he wanted to play before we brought players in to fit into it. I’m still unsure if he actually did either of those things.

I cant think of a squad like this in the past where you’re actually struggling with picking what you think will be the best side. We should be playing 2 strikers but you’re pretty much committed to no width. Matondo isnt the answer. I’m not sure Sima is either.
lammers needs a run in the team but fuck knows where. Cifuentes needs to start playing games, as does Lawrence as he’s potentially our best player….

Play 3 at the back with Lundstram in the centre so we can go to a back 2 with Tavernier and Barasic as wing backs? 3-4-1-2???
I still feel we need to go 3-5-2.

Good for you mate. Ultimately, we are just numbers to them. As long as they get sufficient numbers to turn a profit they won’t bother either way.
