I will be amazed if Kent gets a Premier league team mate, I can see him in the championship if I'm being honest
Most likely one of the teams promoted from the Championship for Kent.

Don't want to see Kent play for us again he's a fucking disgrace
Pretty clear to me that he is for the off.

As per usual. Switching off at free kicks, losing markers in the box and a goalkeeper who is rooted to his line and can’t kick a ball. We do not learn.

I don’t think he was ever a great choice as Captain. Yes, he has contributed to the team hugely at times, but personally I don’t see him as a natural leader or someone who is either a great motivator or has that harsh edge in his personality to drive others on when the going gets tough. If he stays as Captain, then expect more of the same. I think that a change is overdue.

The Sakala chance when was the last time you saw one of our players lift it over the keeper
That’s one of his biggest failings. Lacking composure at the moment of truth.

I have to be honest and say that I’ve been to fewer home games this season than any before for various reasons, and I will most likely renew again, but, this is the least motivated I’ve ever been to do so.

Should save the first
Keeps his legs together, and he saves the second. Notwithstanding the obvious defensive error that gives them the chance though. All in all, a new keeper is required though.

Tough day at the office troops. Lots of valid points made since the game.
Fine margins are what decides the result. We were on the wrong side of too many of those margins today.
Looking ahead. We need to win the cup and see what the Summer brings.
Things will improve. Keep the faith.

Fully deserved imo .
I've been a big critic of him these last couple of seasons but I'm not sure you can blame him for the lack of movement in the transfer front to replace him .
Neither should that detract from some of the performances through the seasons where I'd rate him alongside The Goalie as our best ever keeper .
Agreed. As some said previously, it is probably a year too late. But he has certainly contributed over the years and is deserving of this.

I can’t even even be bothered going today.

Why are you saying they're not blameless. Then in your next sentence relieve them of blame?
Mate, let’s cut to the chase MB made an epic mistake by selecting some of those players. Those same players then failed miserably to perform, which is their part in the whole sorry situation. Then compounded by MB who lacks the bollocks to hook them at half time. Did players fail - yes. But MB is culpable because he failed in initial selection then again in making changes, resulting in going 2 down.

If a player can’t run about and motivate themselves in a cup final that’s not the fault of anyone else but that player
Apart from the man who put him on the pitch obviously.

These players have let us down time after time after time, of course they need to take a portion of the blame.
Exactly. MB was here with Gerrard - he knows those players, but chose to keep pushing them out there, whilst leaving 2 arguably better suited signings on the bench. Madness. Pretty much everyone said so in the match thread before the game.

Hindsight
him picking Kamara is not his fault for Kamara jogging (nearly walking) when Mooy picked the ball up.
Players are not blameless you know.No they are not. But the players were put on the pitch by MB. Point in case, Kamara was the wrong choice. All roads lead to MB’s choices.

I think this is a bit hyperbolic to suggest he's Warburton MKll.
It was a shite result, shite decisions made by the Beale and subsequently followed up by a shite press conference.
But Beale isn't the main problem just now, it is clearly the executive Board and the majority of the players.
I’m not disagreeing with you. But let’s be clear. We lost that game because of MB’s team selection and set up - nothing more. It’s all on him.

Won’t be missed.

Predictable. Nobody should be surprised when we’ve set up to defend and contain.
A major tactical blunder from Beale.

Offers something going forward, and he showed that when he came on against them. I’m with you. Clearly not a long term option but he’s worth another year.
