What a fucking terrible thread, short sightedness at it best. We have been crying out for a striker that can score 20 a season for the past 5 years and you want to start a thread about him missing the open goal. What’s the solution then inspector gadget? So you would of been happy with a 3-3 draw that would of been enough for you? Young lad that missed an easy goal yes I agree but if you think the lad is shite and needs to be sold them thank fuck your not the manager.

Having had it done to death it's pretty much ignorance to treat it as embarrassing rather than understand the context of it in Pedro's natural tongue.
But that doesn't fit a hostile agenda.

Really don't see why people think this is a ridiculous thing to say. It's a common phrase in Portugal and fitted in well to our situation at the time and still is relevant. The media who are the dogs in this metaphor keep barking at us making up stories and shite in the papers and the team is the caravan that keeps moving regardless as we are bigger than the dogs! Can't see why people can't get their heads around that one....

Hope the board (and the fans for that matter) stick by Pedro. Seems like a thoroughly nice guy and he's improved us infinitely from last year. Deserves to be given time to improve us further. Reality is we are financially miles behind them, no manager is going to turn that around overnight.

the silent majority never get a second look, because of the silence.
I am of a certain vintage who have been thru hard times before, albeit, nothing this severe.
Stability is what is needed, changing managers every year only creates chaos, every manager wants to replace players asap, we don't have the cash or the time for that, think back to the Brady/Macari/Venglos days at he glitterdome.

I have no problem with Pedro getting stuck into the players after Saturday. I wanted to boot a few backsides after the game myself. If these players don't perform to the best of their ability, they're going to get their manager the sack.
I don't like the slant that the Record are putting on this story. They're making it look like Pedro's a mad man. If it was Fergie, or Mourinho, doing this you can bet your life they'd print it differently. They'd have passion, where as Pedro's lost it. They would be demanding more from their players, but Pedro's accusing his players of all sorts. The msm up here, for some reason, have it in for Pedro, maybe that's why I want him to stay, in the hope that our players can respond to him, and shove their words back down the throats of these, so called, journalists.
I'm not convinced that Pedro is the right man for the job at our club. I still want him to succeed, win every game, prove me wrong, because doing the opposite would be akin to wanting my team to lose games, get knocked out of cup competitions, and that as a Rangers fan, is not in my DNA.  WATP!!
