He is loving it! He would be decent to give a talk about positive thinking. His book is all about it.

The reality is . He does or he can get to fuck . I have already said I was done with him .
Quite how many on here can forgive him so easily astounds me . I want my club to win trophies . We won't with our main striker being sent of in massive matches all the time .

The BBC is the only one on that list we should care about as we are all forced to fund them.  Ignore the rest.

I’d happily start in the conference to be honest but it sadly won’t happen.

Seems to be an intelligent player and not one of those, runs like a headless-chicken, types who are all too common in Scotland.  Very composed on the ball and seems to read the game well - a sound investment at 50k.  Hopeful that he can be developed by SG and Macca.

£50,000 for this boy, what a bit of business!
His performance looked effortless yet assured again tonight! Add that to the way he was straight in to back up Kent on Sunday, he could be a big big player for us going forward!

We need continuity, stability and around 5/6 additions of real quality. They are shite and I don't care what anybody says. We done them at Ibrox, we should have done them at the Tattiedome on Sunday, and we will do them at Ibrox in the split.

Firstly, I can't stomach the silence shite. The authorities crossed a red line with Gerrard and it is war and if Gerrard didn't realise that before, he does now. Maybe a blessng in disguise that it happened as it will only strengthen his resolve. This board need to respond.
King is a Chairman in abstensia, which is never a great thing and that fuckng idiot of an MD that runs it day to day only adds insult to injury.
I doubt his silence was bought and not being involved day to day, I doubt much affects him as his life remains in RSA, although it should do and he just leaves it to the MD who is a waste of space and just another blazer who is part of Scottish football's problem.
Yes he's wealthy, but I still have my doubts he's that wealthy he can literally throw money at us like a sugar daddy. It's going on four years for him now and being the money driven man that he is, he needs to maximise his ROI. For me 5 years is the end point to take that title, otherwise it's not the money and it's just risk and cash tied up that is losing value year on year. Next season is pivotal for him IMO and in my desperation, we will do it. In football, success on the park is everything and that drives the business and it's value and there is nothing more significant in driving up the value than winning the title.
I do strongly suspect that this summer will see record investment under his tenure. Being through the sale of Morelos, another investor, ST sales etc. Next season is the final push, the last throw of the dice, but the proof of that will come in the summer.
I'm fairly optimistic. We are improving and Gerrard is now fully armed in the knowledge in what he is up against in this midden and in what he needs after recent events.

I really do not know, some very good posts above that I agree with but I suppose we have to hope that the 'better players' that Stevie spoke about today will be brought in. If we try to go into another season with 'no better quality' then I do fear we will be looking at another season over in Jan/Feb.
I do also wonder if the board are as concerned as us ordinary fans about titles 9 and 10 for them ?  Are they annoyed that another season has gone by without even a cup and determined to not let it be the case next season ?
We can only hope that the run in Europe has helped the cash situation and the better quality players needed are brought in, until the season is over and we see what happens in the summer it is a case of hopping for the best as far as I am concerned.

It’s going to cost a fortune regardless.
an attacking midfielder who can create and score is the priority and if Morelos leaves we need another striker who can hit 20 odd

with these bans coming up, we must now be rock bottom of the fair play league. Which is a joke when you consider the treatment meted out to our players and the fact that we are not even close to being a dirty team.

No, because Kent hasn't been sent off 5 times and received a multiple bookings for mostly the same things this season.  I'd have thought that was pretty obvious.

Brown appeals to the lowest common denominator amongst the celtic support.  He just runs around kicking, elbowing, throwing the ball away, mouthing off, and at the end of the game blesses and gestures at the away fans to get a reaction.  He's nothing but an attention seeking clown.  Was yesterday a great footballing performance from him?  No, he's just a fucking idiot.  Only thing worse than a bad loser is a bad winner and he's certainly one of those.  No dignity or class at all.

Another who sees nothing wrong in anything he does. The guy is the most overrated player we have ever had. Being the best player in this country means heehaw . The guy brings nothing but embarrassment to the club time after time and the manager cant handle him.
Said it to another on here , I will gladly have a wager that if/when he goes to the EPL he will fail miserably and be sold in a year.
Hes at the biggest and best club he will ever play for and will realise how much he fucked up when he goes.....

It's about being smart though, he needs to learn, if I'm up against Morelos guess what I'm going to do? Same if he was playing against us , id expect Goldson etc to be winding him up.
There is zero excuse for his behaviour.
If he can't control this side of his game then his career is going to look alot different to what it should.

It's not just yesterday's match though is it.   Its not a one-off that's happened, its the continuation of an unwelcome and unwanted track record since he started to play his football in Scotland.   He's become a target for wind-up.   An easy target at that.  Nothing the manager or coaching staff or fellow players have said or done to encourage him (or order him) to mend his ways has had any effect.   It serial red card behaviour.   Other teams are well aware of it and will continue to try to exploit it.  Referees are well aware of it and will continue to referee him differently.   The compliance officer is well aware of it and - along with the media  assistance - will doubtless continue to look closely at incidents involving Morelos and continue to steer away from giving him any benefit of doubt.
Wonder if Gerrard really believes the promise from Morelos?    I thought I heard Gerrard say in an interview yesterday that Morelos was already beyond an acceptable line before yesterday and that his approach to dealing with Morelos and discipline in general would have to change.    If he stays at Rangers Morelos is walking a tightrope with less and less of a safety net in the form of a manager tolerating any indiscipline.    Can he adapt and walk that tightrope, put his indiscipline behind him and let his football thrive?    Probably.....but not at Rangers and not in Scotland.    He's now far too much a stand-out target for other clubs and referees and I don't believe he is able to adapt and deal with that.
The statement is the least he could have offered.  Note not specific apology to Gerrard who had put more faith in him than his judgement now tells him was wise.  Note no acknowledgement that he is fined and wages being returned to fans.      In my view if bids are received for him in summer it'd be surprising if he's not moved on.
