  1. For services to Northern Irish football. Nice one Gareth. Win tomorrow and an MBE will be nothing compared to the adulation the Bears will give him and the other players.
  2. Good honest interview. Only half a season (almost) as a manager and he's learning on the job. The expectations are sky high and he knows it but is experienced enough to deal with it. Going top only to have it ripped away in the next game has been a good learning curve for him. Win this next game and we're right in there, lose it and it remains to see how Stevie deals with it.
  3. We're not romping away with the league so a few feel the need to be hyper critical. We are dominating a lot of games that we just can't see out with a win but Gerrard has improved the way we play and he has my 100% backing although his CB meddling really has me confused. If we win on Saturday it will really show we are moving in the right direction. Another transfer window should improve us again but we need to keep in touch with top place to make it worthwhile.
  4. The big month went tits up. The big week hasn't gone too well. Now we are left with a big game. Surely we can get ourselves up for this one.
  5. He seems to be the only one on the pitch that sees what's going wrong during games and keeps losing his nut about it. If even a couple of others shared his passion we would be in a better position
  6. There's hardly a player in the squad that knows what it takes to win things. Going a goal up then messing up chance after chance while ambling their way through games thinking they are won shows we don't have that winning mentality. Too many don't give us full effort for 90 mins. Maybe they don't know how to.
  7. 2 points vs hivs when it should've been 6. We made enough chances to win both games but time after time blew it. Not exactly the manager's fault. Morelos needs someone who can score goals to help him out.
  8. Seems like I made a right cunt of it in Vienna and annoyed a couple of folk to the extent I'm probably not going to associate myself with them any more. But stop going? Fuck it. As far as I can see they were a bit sensitive. I know loads who stopped going since 2012 and now wish they hadn't. There's nothing like being among the bears, good times and bad. It's a lifetime commitment.
  9. Butcher, Whittaker, and Naismith all were fine with being one of us til Butcher was called out for being a shitebag and the other 2 wanted to line their pockets above everything else. All 3 since leaving should never be brought back in any capacity (unless there's a charity stoning event on the go). Davis is harshly thought of imo, but in fairness to those who dislike him, he did move on a bit easily. Ohalloran and Windass are possibly the only two I agree with so far of those mentioned. Loaners and short term signings I wouldn't expect much from in terms of loyalty.
  10. Same story with every player on the planet. We just need to enjoy his time here and hope it's long and fruitful
  11. The big month ahead hasn't exactly gone the way we would want and now we're into the big week ahead. Win all 3 and we'll be in a good position. Drop any points without the paedos doing the same then we'll have a hell of a lot of catching up to do.
  12. A few on here thought likewise about Coulibally before he got injured. Barisic did play well but he has to keep it going
  13. Decent. I'd pay much more for such a glamour friendly
  14. Lost his man and nearly cost a goal as the op says, and those 2 passes straight to hivs players that almost put them through 1 on 1 was horrendous play. He wants about 5 mins on the ball every time it is passed to him. In the air though, he's decent but I'd get rid of him asap.
  15. He gets himself into great positions. He fights for everything. He gives 100% for 90mins. He is greedy like all good strikers but this season is also setting up plenty of chances for others. With someone to assist him and weigh in with a few goals he wouldn't get so frustrated. So a striking partner or goalscoring midfielder is a must if we want to challenge for the league.
  16. He played better than he usually does but lacking awareness when on the ball. A quicker pass now and then could've set us up with good chances.
  17. So far it's the goalie but some folk are so reluctant to give him any praise they're saying his best signing isn't someone who plays for us. Fuckings mongs
  18. From BBC Sport 'Hardie was the most fitting person on the pitch to seal the victory. It was the on-loan Rangers striker's first goal of the season in his only start of the campaign so far. He has been hampered by a long-term foot injury but there was no holding back when he put his laces through the ball and fired it high into the net.' He's definitely a goalscorer. The only doubt was whether he could do it in the top league. He's done it today and if he keeps it up we should be giving him a chance with us
  19. Then they have to accept criticism and state why some decisions were made. And when a club complains about the standard of some officiating it should be able to do so without the SFA laying charges, or refs taking the huff. When a team wins, that club rarely ever slates the ref no matter how bad he has been. It's the fine lines between that and poor refereeing that costs a club games and points, and is focused on. Saying they're only human would be a fair point if it wasn't for some of the blatant bias they are showing ... for me it's the minor celebrating by Rangers players (Candeias and Halliday in recent times) that end up in bookings/sending offs when other clubs do far worse without fear of punishment. Morelos is his own biggest enemy sometimes but any time he questions a ref he gets booked (whereas I've seen various players from every club continually do the same thing without a caution). Too many refs do not administer the same approach to other games, clubs and players. That is the problem.
  20. This is surely not an official tie to our club, and just some bloke/supporter hosting his own youtube channel. Tell me it's so! Please
  21. It validates nothing of the sort. It shows how trivial their name calling is, and that's all it is .. a bit of trivial name calling between opposition supporters. Whatever they think they have against us, we can show we have just as much against them. Nothing much to get upset about.
  22. 'But I was grateful to be exposed to that level of obsession with the game. Because I would eventually find out that if you want to make it, that’s what it takes' Get it pinned in the dressing room.
  23. Gets fit? How long does this guy need? He's a waster yet some still think he could be the missing piece. The only threat he offers is to himself.
