Looks class the the type we missed last season. Strong as an ox and willing to drive at teams. 

I was confused but just seeing this coming through now.
Unless Liverpool or a club who want to spend serious cash come in, I can't see him going this year or next. That is of course barring any fallout with the board here.

Just because it has been a bad move this time doesn’t mean there is not a player there.
You see it often, players makes a move to club, doesn’t work out, they leave and play well elsewhere. 
Also to suggest there is no player there when his national manager, a highly decorated player with club and country, speaks very highly of him. 
I’m inclined to take his word over wee Lloyd from RM.

A 30 goal a season striker this day and age is so hard to come by so I think keep him. Disciplinary issues aside he seems happy theres also Defoe who is providing top quality competition. See what summer holds but unless £20million plus bid lands on Gerrard office desk then we are in a good place for the next campaign.

Ibrox is a proper old type stadium where the fans are right on top of the pitch and any team never mind them yesterday would struggle in that Calderon of noise. There was no hiding place out there and every misplaced pass by them yesterday was giving dogs abuse...which I loved. These new stadiums like west ham Emirates etc don't intimidate opposition teams. Ibrox bernabaeu Dortmund etc are tough places to go because the design. But reducing away allocations is spot on and benefits us hugely

Pre 2012 whenever we played them I was always confident of gettin a result but once we got relegated and then returned to top flight 3 years ago....Rodgers took over we just went on a horrendous run. And I dreaded every old firm..But this season we have competed in each game v them apart from 1st game after we had been to Russia in the Thursday..  But weve done fantastic at home against them. Gerrard has restored the faith and bragging rights. And iam going to enjoy this today..and so should eveyone.

So then that was one if our better performances  of the season lastnight and the best type of reaction possible from sunday. Would you stick with that team going forward albeit kent will probs missing next 2. Thoughts? 

He must have been told today that brown will be targeting you after last old firm when you kicked him up the bollocks. I thought by now Gerrard cud of sat him down and said look son we are losing you for lots of games...just calm it down a bit. How many games has he missed?...its getting scandalous.

We had a good first half season finishing 2018 joint top. But since January we've changed the team too often in important games and it hasn't worked. We can't get round the tactics of st Johnstone kilmarnock Hibernian etc. Lots of potential but having no plan to break these mid table teams down when they park the bus has cost us. 

We have been playing some canny stuff last 6 weeks scoring a few on the way ,but them draws have been so costly due to celtic not slippin up until today typically!!. Tuesday will be tough if we start fast like against dundee Hamilton etc then we are a handful for any team. We just seem to struggle to get round teams that set up negatively.

St Johnstone was the buffers for me season wise. It's only because celtic are not slipping up. 1 defeat since 2019 sounds good form but these couple of draws have felt like a losses. We need to focus on Tuesday and I feel Aberdeen celtic are not a problem to play against. It's the mid table dross we can't figure out how to get past that boils my piss. But we still have a lot to play for.

Newcastle United blew a 12 point lead to Manchester united in February 1997....funny old game. 

Gerrard is still a rookie manager...it's his first job as a manager and in my opinion if and it's likely we will finish 2nd it's progression compared to last couple of seasons...we have shown we can beat celtic and Aberdeen it's just so frustrating dropping points against the other sides. The guy will get there. We just need to stick by him.
