2 ? Was it retaken
Yip, Palma missed and Var ordered a retake for encroachment in box by County players.
He missed the retake.

Iam not suggesting for one moment that there is any comparison in quality between Dessers and Big Mark Hateley.
The only comparison that I would like to mention is that both had very sticky starts to their Ibrox careers.
Hateley was getting it tight up until that fateful day in May 1991 when he won us the championship at home to Aberdeen.
The rest is history.

Historically, over the last few years, we've been very sticky after the winter break.
4-1
3-0
A great improvement this year.

This is what results in having a real Manager.

Get a 3rd early in second half please Gers

Get an early 3rd in second half and finish the job.

Must admit that we,are very good,at scoring just near half time and potentially knocking the wind out of the opposition sails. We do it quite alot.

How? Not much difference to the team that won at Betis won a cup final and lost just once in Clements opening 17 games.
What team and changes were you expecting?
Saturday was disappointing but let’s not pretend what’s happened within the last month, like cutting the gap right down didn’t happen with this current set of players.
Exactly.
With the players available what are folk really expecting.

We were 7 behind I'm sure.
Now we're 8 behind with 2 games in hand.
So no, but maybe aye 😂
There or thereabouts 🤣
Regardless, League should have been over and done with before yesterday.
In the overall picture and grand scheme of a league season, im fucking delighted that we still have a chance, and a pretty decent one at that.

Que a king shankland comment from someone
Shankland for me.
Will score goals for fun aka Super Ally & Kris Boyd.
Can we afford him? Yes
Can we afford not to sign him? No
I realise he's not everyone's Cup of tea, but if we are prepared to spunk millions in the summer on Dessers, Lammers, Danilo, then Shankland is a no brainer.

Not sure what the above rant is about, my post wasn't a defence of Beale, it was about the financial picture that people seem to ignore when thinking Clement is going to get given some big warchest transfer budget.
Not ranting at you mate. When I see or hear the snake oil salesman name I tend to go into one 🤣🤣

Are my sums correct when I say we have still gained 5 points on the tarriers since Big Phil came in?

As I said post-game, gutted, BUT we are 8 behind with 2 in hand and 2 OF games to go with one of them at Ibrox. They have to go to Hibs and Aberdeen straight post winter split.
Its not over by a long chalk.
Only half way there, even had we won yesterday, it guaranteed nothing apart from 3 points.
A long, long way to go.
We've had an incredible few weeks, yesterday just put a dent in it and has left us a bit deflated, but not without hope, still plenty to play for.
Tbh, the league should have been finished by now if it wasn't for their fuck ups and our good run under Clement.
I for one, did not expect us to be in this position come the New,Year, and that lot definitely didn't expect us to be on their coat tails come today.

Sometimes in football, a victory can lull you into a false sense of security, and as equally, a defeat can be a blessing in disguise.
I'm not going to say that we will win this league, there is a chance, but come May, whoever wins will it will only be by a couple of points.
After Beales fucking mess and Big Phil coming in, if I had been offered this position come the last day of the year, then I would have took that in a fucking heartbeat.
