Offside rule is about where the player is when the touch /pass was made to them if they then become involved in play.
There's been plenty meddling with the rules but nothing I'm aware of that a player can be offside when his player touches it to him he can then be onside when he touches it.
Thats without even considering that he was in an offside position between the sticks, that's quite advantageous given he swivels and scores from it.

It doesn't matter when he touches the ball. The goal didn't rightfully stand. If that was celtic against us, everybody on here would be furious at the decision 
If VAR only agrees with the on field decision, then it's pointless. Offside goals are one of the few elements of it, that are completely decided by VAR.

The deliberately playing the ball only applies to the opponent.

I honestly don’t think this early in the season it gives advantage to them to be given time off but that’s just my opinion 

I think we have enough experience and knowledge of how to play in Europe successfully without the need to put ourselves at a disadvantage domestically

The square balls and sideways passing have been a problem since Gerrard, GVB didn't help last night mind you by playing Kamara and Jack as a 2, Jack didn't look fit and Kamara has proven time and time again he needs to be in a 3 man midfield or not play at all.
The forward line where poor last night but we could have had any front 3 in the world and they would have struggled, one passage of play in the 2nd half we worked it well to there box with Matondo in about 10 yards of space on the right Kamara just needs to slip him in, instead he turns and passes it backwards giving USG a chance to get back into shape, that surely can't be coming from the coach.

Not surprised but yes it’s sickening. They cannot take responsibility for anything without saying “but but they did it too”. Pathetic. 

The SFA report today is to be published about child abuse in Scottish football. I’d expect celtic to be commended for their work with kids and a total whitewash of the paedophile ring that went on there for 50 odd years.

The commentary is a joke, they are far from dominating this game. I’ve not giving up on an equaliser yet. 

St. Mirren were poor but celtic dominated the half is a bit generous. They've knocked it about the back a bit and looked shaky whenever St. Mirren come forward. 
Not sure you can describe getting into the opposition area twice as dominating. 
I think teams fancy themselves against them at the moment so just go for it. They are still toothless most of the time up top though.
