I fucking hate religion. There's no old man floating about like a big poof. Basically I'm saying "god" can go fuck himself.
What I do believe in though is I'd take any players that win us 55.

Secondary ticketing is to benefit the club, not us. People need to understand that. The tenner back is just a small encouragement.

Ask not what your country can do for you etc...
This is the kind of thing is where we should all be pulling together. The club getting some income for this is more important than us effectively making money out of our support for it.
And also, as SIMA says, game by game tickets will be difficult as fuck to get next year, so it's also important to help as many folk get to the game as we can. For that reason above all else, you shouldn't cut your nose off to spite your face on this one.

Feel sorry for the younger crowd citing Lee Wallace as a hero... what he done was commendable but he is never a Rangers hero in my eyes...

Heroes for me having started watching Rangers in the mid 90's are Albertz, Durrant, McCoist, Ian and Barry Ferguson, Gough, Goram, Laudrup, Gazza, Amoruso, McCann, and then to a slightly lesser extent some like Klos, Numan, De Boer, Novo, Boyd.... all these players provided me with many happy memories.  That 9IAR team were just unbelievable and during the Advocaat era we really should have had a proper go at the Champions League or the UEFA Cup... the amount of times we seemed to be drawn in groups of death and narrowly fall out of the group stages was unbelievable.  Those games against Parma when they had a beast of a team live long in the memory.

Greig and Cooper are probably the main two that most Bears would agree unanimously on (unless they're too young and don't look much to the past).
Personally, McCoist is an absolute legend for me because I lived through 9-in-a-row and he was just a fucking goal machine with so many great memories against the scum. And, flaws and all, he's one of our own.
Still many a keyboard warrior would rather try to look hard by slagging him off. So fire away...

Jesus Christ, nobody hates Rangers quite like Rangers fans. Compare the replies in this thread to the Jordan Thompson one, all wishing him well and all sorts of goodwill. That's fine, that's the way it should be. However, what the fuck did he ever do for Rangers?? Did he even play a first team game?
Compare with Weir, who won 3 league titles, 4 cups and was part of the Uefa cup final team. He was a huge part of us getting back to being a winning team on Walter's return. He was instrumental in the successes we had with Cuellar, Bougherra and Danny Wilson. Those players shone playing alongside him under his guidance.
For all those who wank over Kyle Bartley's tackle on brown, see Weir throttling Gary Caldwell.
It's a shame that he is a poor coach and wurburtons mate, but so what? That period is over, let it fucking go!! Remember what he did on the pitch for us! Same as McCoist, he is our legend but there's so much hate for him online! Let go of the grievances and remember what they did on the pitch, because that's where they were made for. They are Rangers playing legends, just not fit to manage us. That should never negate their playing days.
We do our enemies jobs for them, they must love seeing the vitriol we have for our own. It's baffling. Remember the good times and don't let bitterness poison the memories.

I think we will always be welcome.  Its more if we choose to attend and I believe we were one of the last teams to accept this year and left it quite last minute.  We always do well and I see more Rangers shirts than any other club.. Villa a close second.  It's amazing how far our reach is, the Newcastle Jets manager today was a Rangers fan from Scotland! We always have a few players in the Masters too and a Rangers masters won it before (it's not easy, plenty of ex Premium players. The team with Wes Brown, David James, Michael Brown and Lee Hendrie went out in groups today.)
Inside is decent.  It's just so bloody hot!  You can get a beer or jugs of beer, hot dogs, bacon rolls, burgers, pizza etc.  If you can find someone who is a member of the HKFC (hosts) you can get a decent fry up etc beforehand too. But I prefer being down on the pitch.  Also there's activities and games and stuff for kids to do on an adjacent pitch if there is family in tow - bouncy castle, football challenges (beat the goalie, some of those modern training  machines where boards light up for you to pass to etc).  It's definitely a Much Smaller event than the Rugby Sevens which is just a huge party but rugby is shite.
If there's any players etc you want to speak to it's easy as they just wander around. David James was sitting 2 seats along from me for a while today and the Rangers lads were sitting in the food area.
If you want to know anything specific or want any photos etc tomorrow just let me know as I will be back again for the knockouts.

To answer the quote - Newcastle needed to avoid losing by 3 goals to go through.  We were through and top unless we lost.  Barjonas was losing the rag a bit cause players wouldnt move forward.  It was actually a small selection of Newcastle fans booing, a few of them were shouting because Newcastle were literally just sitting back and their coach kept telling them not to concede and they were through.
Callum O'Hare of Villa is lighting the game's he's involved in up as he did last year.  The lad looks absolutely class.
