I agree, unfortunately most of them don't have it in them. At least we hopefully wont have to suffer some of them for too much longer.They wont survive under him with the attitude they've shown this last 6 weeks.

Every Rangers fan I know in real life, especially those my age or younger have nothing but admiration and respect for Barry.  In fact he was a lot of our younger fans hero when they were growing up.
I keep seeing frequent snidey digs aimed at him on forums that ye never hear in real life.  Fuck knows why that is.

Wonder if Murty and the DOF might look at that fixture list as representing the end of a phoney type of league season so far and the real league starting.  5 games.  15 points up for grabs.    Time to show some real mettle, some real battling quality, some thorough composure and dictating games they way we want to play them for the whole of each game, a sharpened ruthlessness in creating and taking goal scoring chances, and proper quality defending to keep others from scoring.   A chance for this squad to up its game and set the marker for next season.   No time for timidness here.  No time for wasting half a match before getting into gear.   No time for hiding.   Time to wear the shirt with pride and confidence and grab the opportunity in front of them.
Any chance Murty can instil a motivation into the squad that gets their game raised with the right tactics and players deployed for each game?   What a managerial challenge this is going to be for Murty and Jimmy N.  Surely this is where Jimmy Nichol can instil good words of encouragement and wisdom into the squad.  He's been there and done it.
5 games, 15 points are there to be fought and won.  A league within a league.  Surely even meek Murty can find an extra gear, an extra means of motivation to make these final games games we can be proud of as having undoubtedly seen the team will have given its very best every game with tactics and choice of player well suited to getting the points from each game.    Its a pity the gap to the top is as it is because this is the real season and this will reveal a lot about this squad's character and abilities to hit and maintain a winning form.    Which could be a very important platform for getting going next season.   They have to start showing that in this sort of dog-fight for points they can scrap and win.
These games are times for those players to show why they are privileged to play for Rangers.    This is not a time for meekness or humility from Murty.  Its time for him to get some armour on and get the squad battle-ready to win these games.

A few on here by the looks of it 

It's seems from some (not aimed at the OP ; just a general observation I've seen over the last few weeks) that our good run of 9 wins in 10 was primarily down to Nicholl joining and not Murty. However when we lose it seems to be all Murtys fault. My view on our upturn in form is fairly simplistic. We signed better players in January and now have a better squad. That said as a team Murty, Nicholl, JJ seem to have done well since January collectively as a team.
With regard to the subs or lack thereof whilst I agree it should have been changed earlier I can also see why it wasn't. IMO Murphy was our best player and wasn't coming off. Candeias wasn't far off and wasn't coming off either. Buffalo was causing them problems and is a threat. Taking Goss off could have been risky as we could have been left short in midfield. Windass could have been an option but I don't think he was as bad as made out and he's always a threat. His shot should have got us a point if buffalo scores.
We had 33 minutes left when they were down to ten. We had loads of time to break them down. There was no need to force the issue. We didn't need to change it straight away.
Murtys post match comments were actually fairly accurate when he said the players weren't trying to play through them, weren't moving it fast enough and were crossing from too deep.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing. If buffalo puts us 3 - 2 up I think we win and probably win pretty comfortably. He didn't. We lost and everyone involved is culpable but moreso the players IMO. Murty is not without his faults but even when Cummings came on everything Murty said the players weren't doing they continued to do them. We only really played through them once after Cummings came on. Cummings coming on earlier wouldn't have guaranteed anything. I guess we'll never though.
