Struggles in the bigger games.

Some of ours massively overrated him before he’d even kicked a ball - possibly because we may/may not have nabbed him off them.
 
All said and done, he’s nothing special. Drifts in and out of games and more often than not reverts to a safe sideways pass.
 
We all thought he was going to be the guy to carry the ball forward and unlock defences - and he’s not been doing that. In the cut and thrust of an Old Firm you need players with heart. Far better players than Aribo have come up to Scotland and fallen short. Hope I’m wrong  but don’t get the hype whatsoever - and I’ve said that on here from day one, not just after his piss poor showing today.

I see another midfielder going to create very little and hardly score mate , it’s soul destroying to be honest , non existent against st Mirren , good shot against Killie that lead to the corner , non existent today , it’s not enough so far is it ? 

Just reminds me of Ejaria , nice touches here and there , very rarely going to hurt teams ,  7/8 million being branded about if there was no cross country loophole, behave

Morelos is a genuine 20 mil striker who we could not afford to buy.

Exactly. No out ball at all to deal with their press, especially in the first half. I hate to think Gerrard was so naive that he thought we’d get the lion share of possession and hundreds of chances again but that’s looking likely to be the case. Hopefully now our players/fans really do shut the fuck up about winning this league until it’s won. 

I would start Morelos for both.

Tremendous play from Davis for Defoe's third, there's not many players in Scotland who could take that first touch, skip by a couple of defenders and dink a perfect ball back post for the assist. Quality stuff.

you are right in saying Arfield belongs in the starting 11.  whether in midfield or front three is debatable but he is a staring 11 player.
