9 in a row was special. As was the 2008 uefa cup final. Walter was his modest self on how we managed to get there lol. We were a tough nut to crack on our travels in Europe. 

It's time the guy was knighted for his service to football, Sir Walter has a nice ring to t and would be very well deserved.

Was privileged to attend this function. Had the meet and greet with Walter and Archie. A couple of gentlemen indeed. To say it was an honour is an understatement. Some of the stories regarding Gazza are absolutely hilarious lol😂. Especially the one when he roamed about parkhead getting whisky from their bar. I was in awe to be in the great man's presence that evening. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Though some of the over zealous security guards were cunts to say the least. All in all a fabulous night, and in the company of the men who delivered 9in a row. Priceless. I know it was a different era back then but Walter didn't half to well eh? Domestically we were unstoppable and barring the marseille fiasco we could well have won the European Cup.  Our photo takes pride of place on the mantlepiece.. Thanks again Sir Walter of Carmyle and Manchester. 👍

Was a really good decision from me to go to Luxembourg and give last night a miss. Really chuffed with that decision

Was the best I have been at in a while from an hour before kick off right to the final whistle. Not sure how it came across on Rangers TV. 
The home fans must have looked at us at HT and wondered what was going on  was nuts

They look after their own interests first.  The sense of entitlement on here when clubs don’t pander specifically to Rangers is embarrassing.

If that’s how they want to run their club that’s their business.  They have a wealthy owner and can absorb any hit from today.  Money probably wasn’t the only motivation, two full stands full of Rangers fans would have made it like an away game for them.

That’s their problem.  If I was a Killie fan I’d resent both us and the papes getting 2 stands and making it like an away game on their own ground.

If you’re talking about transfer fees then 500k for Kris Boyd was a bargain for the level of goals and success we got  back.

No, our best transfer business ever was getting a player of Brian Laudrups quality to come to Scotland.
He was and I’ve no doubt be the best player I’ll ever watch in a Rangers top.
