Just listened to bits of it, and really disliked the messaging around Champions League money, and reference to an EPL team.
Rather than say "its only 3 million more than forecasted Europa", which is a forecast based on what, latter stages (QF, SF?), why not just say it was 18 million guaranteed which is a positive in anyones book. They seemed determined to lower expectations, using this and the Norwich analogy.  And maybe we've had got more money if we hadnt been fucking pumped in every game. What about Club Brugge as a positive analogy instead of constantly having an excuse mentality about moneys, injuries etc etc.
And saying Wilson was oustanding when we sacked the manager after a year just reeked of cronyism. Ridiculous thing to say.

Its the manager who has the final say, and ultimately that ahs cost him hsi job. But Wilson needs to held accountable for his role in getting list of available options, and the team he builds to do this. Wilson being hailed as outstanding while Gio getting sacked and having all the responsibility for transfers does feel a bit slopey shoulders.

Let's look at Wilson who was visibly uncomfortable with the line of questioning, his first retort was 'Ross Wilson doesn't sign footballers'. Despite him then going onto confirm it's an area of the footballing department he overseas.
Robertson then goes full circle and talks about how we've had many injuries too. So that'll be another area that falls under Wilson, as well as recruitment? 
Both of them dodged the real question and Wilson will be delighted to have got away with just that level of discomfort.
Wilson has q fucking cheek to sit up there and take little responsibility for both of those areas, under his control, for failing so badly and for so long.

Sitting there, shoulders slumped, rolling the eyes, lifting his head up to shoot down any criticism that comes his way.

I will wish him the best of course, and think he's talented as a coach, but really frustrated at this.
For me, he is the 'outstanding candidate' for Ross Wilson mainly because he will drink the kool-aid about how great the squad is, and not rock the boat and challenge the status quo to get us improved. My only hope is that he is strong enough once his neck is on the line to challenge the board and Wilson when its clear we need massive changes rather than keep burying our head in the sand and pretend we're progressing and that we have a balanced squad.

It didnt work out for the guy. But he deserves respect for his career and for what he did and feels for us, despite the poor performance in the league.
I'll always respect a Rangers man with talent, who took us to a Europa final, even if it didnt work out. I know it ended bad and the he didnt get it out the players. But I'll always respect him as a guy and a Rangers servant. He'll be celebrating if the new manager wins the league along with us.
