JordanRangers 4
Ffs its his DAUGHTER , who else would you want beside you at a match ?? your daughter wants you to be the best at what you do, he obviously gets confidence from her, as will every other dad. SugarPlum 6
I thought it was really nice! Imagine getting to sit on the bench with your Dad after he scored for Rangers in a cup semi final!
Bobby 41
fantastic to see imo. 1. shows he cares about our club so much he wants his loved one involved. 2. shows he felt it was a big ocassion - therefore proud of being a ranger. 3. most of all. Rangers is a big Family, and that wee lass is as much a ranger as anyone on here, and deserves to be able to share a few seconds track side with her dad, who spends many hours per week knocking his pan in to do a job for us. Imodium 423
Nice touch IMO, we are a family club and semi finals are big occassions for the players. Add to that the bench at Hampden could seat about 500! Velicka looks very proud to play for the club and Im chuffed for him that he's hitting a bit of form and scoring important goals at such an important time of the season. McBoyd 355
I think the OP has a point. What if she told someone to strip off and get ready to come on?! That might have caused all sorts of problems! What if she ordered a 4th sub on the park? That would have got us banned from the competition! She might even start shouting instructions to the players that could ruin the gameplan! Keep Velicka's daughter off the bench! We can't take hte risk having such a loose cannon on in there! OMG KEV YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS!!
MrMartini 0
Personally i thought it was a nice wee touch, she's obviously very proud of her dad and see no reason why he shouldnt have brought her down, pretty much the same as when players get there kids on the park when they win a cup or league
Amac9 2,060
This is an awful thread. Was it wrong that players such as Stefan Klos, Craig Moore, Barry Ferguson, Michael Mols etc had their kids on the pitch when we won the league in 2003?
