ShaneRalfRoss 301
Turks set to offer Boydy £50k a week By ROBERT GRIEVE Published: 18 Aug 2009 rigTeaserImage KRIS BOYD has been given a staggering £50,000-A-WEEK lure to quit Rangers and accept a life-changing move to TURKEY. SunSport can reveal that TWO Super League clubs have expressed a shock interest in the prolific striker, who turns 26 today. Rival outfits Trabzonspor and Kayserspor are prepared to pay a £1.5m transfer fee for the hitman. Boyd, who hit 31 goals last season, would earn that £50,000-a-week - four time his current wages - if either deal went through. The amazing figures, confirmed to us by sources close to the deal, came to light last night with Rangers chiefs aware of the Turkish interest. Gers are in desperate need of funds and are ready to cash in on the striker, who is in the final year of his contract and hasn't been offered an extension, though they could hold out for £2m. Boyd wants to stay. He rejected a deal to sign for Birmingham last season. But the cash on offer could tempt him to reconsider. http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/ho...50k-a-week.html

ForeverBlue_Since91 2,895
Not a chance Rangers would accept £1.5m for Boyd! Didn't see that, hahaha, no chance, we'd be stupid to sell him for that. You Might say that,But if Your David Murray, You are Looking at what we Bought him For,and 1Mil is a profit to SDM Nah, if you're David Murray you're thinking "Birmingham offered £3.5m for him, why would I accept £1.5m?" good Point, never knew what they Offered, but he didn't go,and we didn't get the money. thats what im trying to say. he might still want to take one mil. but if this team really want him, they will pay the money Rangers want. whitey126 42
it would be an absolute disagrace if we let him go for 1.5mills. everyone can say what they want about kris boyd, but the fact is there is not one person in our leauge, never mind our squad who will score the amount of goals that he does. he gets some amount of grief, but IMO he was one of the most improved players at our club last season, as he started to change his game and began to drop a lot deeper to link up with the midfield, and his quality of his ball distribution was greatly improved as well its quite clear we are not going to be spending any serious cash... so what player from our current squad has the potential score over 30 goals in a season? if we sell him now, we can kiss goodbye to our leauge title

Right_To_Censor 1,951
here's the thing i don't get, if you guys say he's worth more then in exactly what way is he worth more? has no pace, can't hold up the ball up, can't tackle, fitness is all over the place and and the best bit of all he's lazy. 1.5 we should take it now
