Jelle1880 229
Anyone seen it ? I'm just back from the cinema, this movie blew me away. The plot isn't too original, but the 3D and the graphics, holy shit. Cameron has put a new standard for all upcoming 3D movies.

Bakbear 3,586
Brilliant Brilliant Movie.... Like OP said not exactly an original plotline but what a visual extravaganza.... this is going to change the way movies are made forever.... 3D is not the gimmick it used to be, this film is visually stunning Go see it in 3D

davy1shoe 63
Did the 3d make you try and dodge it at any point?

DinViesel 399
The 3D in this movie is not a gimmick. You get immersed in the whole movie. From the view inside the Helicopter I was getting motion sickness.

mrtin281 0
Thought a scene or two was a rip off of last of the mohicans, then lo and behold magua is the bloody chief!
j1mgg 3,766
I seen it last night and thought the effects were immense but from where i was sittting i could see the edges of the screen. i feel the screen needs to be larger so it fill your whole sight of vision. Ace 3,556
Saw it in the Imax on Monday night. Absolutely class, mind you, we arrived at 7pm and got 3 fuckin' seats in the front row right at the door as you come in (bloody women leaves late then has to goto the pisser inside the building ... last one in) Anyway .... the movie, i was moving my head about when they kept moving around the jungle. The scene in the helicopter was great too. The actual CGI of the avatars was amazing too, that really has set the bar for anything coming after it. Would recommend going to see it, just get to the Imax early ... lol
kyle 3
definately one of the best films i have ever seen the visuals are amazing you feel like you are actually there and the broken heater at the cinema made it feel like the heat of the jungle

rossDas 1,071
Never seen a 3D film before. Wanted to go see Avatar but I've been layed low with Labyrinthitis and I'd probably end up puking my guts out!
Jimbo. 952
Saw it last night at the Quay and thought it was fucking awesome. Couple of the boys thought it was too cheesy towards the end, I couldn't have cared less. What a movie!!
