Arsenal vs Barcelona - 'The battle of beautiful football'

A game of just pure football.

Both teams can play no other way. This game has goals written all over it, neither team are that great defensively, but are both exceptional going forward.

Messi, Xavi, Henry, Ibrahimovic, Pedro, Busquets, Toure, Fabregas, Arshavin, Nasri and Rosicky; players who just play football the right way.

Can't wait!

The only way, IMO, you can beat Barca, is to stifle them and play on the counter - the way Chelsea did so effectively in the semi's last year.

No team, IMO, can go up against Barca and play their own free-flowing style against them.

If Barca get the first goal tonight, I can see them winning by a few.

Also, the OP has missed out arguably the best central midfielder in the world in Iniesta!? Or is he injured tonight...

He's injured.

You make a good point about the way you need to play against Arsenal.

Let's not forget, Man Utd and Chelsea have both went to the Emirates this season and absolutely scudded Arsenal, I see no reason why Barcelona can't.

He's out injured, as is Abidal.

Fabregas only 40% likely to play.

Ahright cheers.

That's the thing there you see, Barca and Arsenal are both missing arguably their most influential CM's and two of the best in the world...

However, to one side it is almost an inconvienience, to the other it is a hammer blow before the game has even begun!

(Considering Fabregas fails his fitness test.)

Yeh I was going to say that missing Iniesta is not a huge blow to Barca as missing Fabregas is to Arsenal.

Xavi, Toure, Busquets and Keitas still there!

Barca will shag them. Campbell will get absolutely raped from Messi.

Arsenal are fucking shite especially with no Fabregas.

Im sure Gallas Trained yesterday and is in the squad, and Wenger had a big smile on his face when he said that. So i have a feeling he will start
