Sounds like its going to be a cracking game.

GRAPHICS

  • There are two improved elements: visuals and enhanced animations, including trademark dribble styles and celebrations. i.e Ronaldo's bolt-upright running technique.
  • Are now nine different body types, as opposed to FIFA 10's three.
  • FIFA 10 players have slightly stooped shoulders and no waists. This has been corrected, along with better definition on the legs. There is also three different sock lengths and compression shorts for some players to wear in the winter.
  • Player faces will also see an enormous improvement. EA Sports are now taking actual photographs of players before rendering, rather than using artists' interpretations. The results are said to be impressive.
  • FIFA 10 used the same expressions for all players. FIFA 11 will apply custom expressions, to include frustration, pain, idle, anticipation and excitement. There will also be blinking, eye-tracking and dating, along with nose wrinkling and neck bulging.
AUDIO
  • You can now customise in-game audio like never before. You'll be able to essentially create your own soundtrack.
  • You can now record your own chants to play during matches. If you haven't got enough mates you can upload chants from your club too.
  • You'll also be able to assign music for when your team comes onto the pitch, when they score and at the final whistle.

GAME PLAY

  • It's all about key tweaks this year. The main complaint from FIFA 10 players was the 'ping pong' passing. Translation: It was far too easy to string five passes together from a goal kick to a scoring opportunity, not anymore!
  • Passing is now a lot more intricate. EA have invented 'pro passing', which allows you to control the weight of your distribution. It also means you'll need to think about which player you're controlling.
  • There are plenty of other passing innovations, too. Such as swerve passes, driven lobs, fancy flicks and through-balls with backspin. The players will also be more prone to light stumbles and they'll be an increased amount of collisions.
  • Player AI has improved. You'll now see more than one player going for crosses, for example, with others responding to the flight of the ball, not just their own runs.
  • Goalies are now less intelligent. Previously, they had super-human reflexes on deflected shots. Now, they'll respond like regular players and be easily-fooled.
PERSONALITY
  • Players now play exactly as they do in real life. Each player has a defensive and an attacking work rate setting. For example, Dani Alves, will charge forward at every opportunity, but might be a little slow at getting back to help out.

EA are working hard to get licences for new stadiums for FIFA 2011.

Could we get Ibrox on it? We'll have to wait and see!

Leaving a 5 star stadium like Ibrox is disgraceful. Still, looking forward to the new one, seems like there will be some useful changes in the new game.

Ibrox will likely never be in it as the mhanks would make too much of an uproar to EA if it happened

sad but true

Fuck them and their shitty lego stadium, EA need to get it sorted. You couldn't really complain if parkheid wasn't included it's such a cheap shithole.

Sounds very promising. I look the idea of the different range of passing techniques. The through ball with back spin sounds right up my street. I like the back to front triangle through ball. Another thing is the add your own chants and songs. I'm sick fed up of hearing the taig fans shout "Keanooo Keanoooo". I hammered this Liambhoy1888 last night 9-3 and still they were shouting "Keanoooo Keanooo", does my tits in.

All sounds good, just hope they don't over-do this like they did in a recent PES game (can't remember which one, not a PES man).
