Good win, great run out.

Some better performances in the 2nd half, especially from Davis and Naismith. Once again Bougherra strolled, and Whittaker played very well in a number of positions. McCulloch was probably our best midfielder.

Defence was slack at times, Edu didn't really kick a ball, neither did Davis in the 1st half and Miller was left far too isolated. Wylde showed that it makes a difference when you have a bit of pace, and directness - he looks good.

A decent showing overall, although obviously there's still a few players short of match sharpness. Beating an English Premiership side should be a great confidence booster, even if it is only Newcastle.

Agree Wylde looked good from the few minutes we saw, as did Hutton, Shinnie looked a bit nervous though.

Good result and the 2nd half was a massive improvement. Wylde looks like he could do us a turn. Whittaker should be our right back ahead of broadfoot. Papac worried me today, he was really poor even allowing for pre season. Edu was non existent. Big Lee did a surprisingly good job. If we can add a couple of players, on the top of that better 2nd half I'm pretty optimistic

Edu needs another game of 90 minutes. Its not about good performances from him at the moment.

He will play on Wednesday night as well. Struggling a wee bit to get up to speed after playing in the Wolrd Cup in the summer.
