Sorry, but we just don't have the squad. :disappointment:

Miller leaving took away so much from the team.

Losing McCulloch has unsettled the midfield and made the defence more vulnerable.

Now Naisy is out for some crucial weeks, robbing us of a pacy and determined player.

Weir is looking done and even Jelavic, who has great skill, does not look fully fit yet.

I really fear we will lose more players over the coming weeks to injury and suspension.

And we don't have the players to replace them.

If I'm being honest, I fear the worst. But I'm not giving up.

NO SURRENDER! :crabflute:

Mark Hateley in today's DR:

Here's an interesting statistic. When Rangers were going for the quadruple in 2008 they had something like 33 first-team players on their books. It is a similar scenario in 2011 and Rangers are functioning with 16 first-team players.

:anguish:

Who will take points off them? Since they lost at Tynecastle, have they dropped points? Lennon told his players to go through the rest of the season unbeaten, so far they have done that, i think. I cant see any team in this league taking points off them, it will be left to us to win every match, we do that, we will be champions. It sounds more unrealstic for us to win every match, and we all know why that is. :(

They are a hungry bunch, we dont look up for it at all.

Since losing to Hearts, they drew against Dundee Utd at home, Inverness at home, Kilmarnock at home, and Hamilton away. So they dropped 10 points since then.

Someone mentioned this yesterday so I won't take credit. They said the tims have peaked too early and when Lennon's touchline ban kicks in it will affect them. His presence on the touchline does affects games in bad way on putting pressure on the officials and good way (for them anyway) in that he can

I dont think it will make a great deal of difference when he gets banned. Do you really think that will have a massive effect on them? In the end we have to look at ourselves, and were just not upto the fight. Thats what is killing our season.

The maths are simple, if we go on an unbeaten run from now we will win the league, the execution is rather more problematic.

That's not true. We'd have to go on a winning run to guarantee it.

Yes, i asked, but im not their manager, he told them not to lose, have they lost?

I was just answering your question. Yes - they've dropped 10 points.

You didn't previously ask if they'd lost. But the answer is no.

sad to say .but i cant see it.our managers tactics and team selection are baffling.every bear i talk to can see where the problems are,why cant walter and ally see it.why cant we just have a go at the mhanky mob,im afraid to say that i think our manager is scared of celtic,if this is the case then they must go.my god we reached the uefa cup final and still didnt have a go.so thanks for all the great times hes given us but time is up for walter. watp

It must be great for a Rangers player not having to go into work the next day and face a barrage of stick from the tims.

The worst thing about today at work is that I didn't have a leg to fucking stand on when it came to the above. I couldn't argue with anything they said, that's how shite we were.

Just had a look at our fixtures in the run up to the split

St Johnstone (h)

Dundee Utd (a)**

St Mirren (a)

Dundee Utd (h)

Hamilton (a)

Killie (h)

Aberdeen (a)**

St Mirren (h)**

St Johnstone (a)**

** those games haven't been arranged yet to my knowledge

The game that I'm not looking forward to the most is Dundee Utd away so hopefully by the time we play them our confidence is back although another doing from the scum next week in the SC might shatter it to the point of no recovery (td)

to all the taigs looking in and voteing feck the lot of you we are rangers WE ARE THE PEOPLE

to all the lads and lassies from a protestant work ethic background

KEEP BELIEVEING

Thats the problem with some of this team. They don't understand the mentality it takes to play for a club like Rangers.
