Beat me to it mate. Its ridiculous and they cant expect you to Not sing the national anthem. Id like to see this stipulation for myself and see wether it states only not to Sing it. People on here really need to acquaint themselves with the laws that are being proposed. What is implied by the legislation is things like walking into a republican-sympathising pub and singing GTSQ or something, that's inciting hatred and will most likely result in sectarian violence. You wont get arrested for singing GTSQ at a Rangers match, or in your house, or anywhere else. Maybe it you decided[for some stupid reason] to stand outside Celtic Park after a Celtic v Hibs game and started belting out GTSQ that would fall within the ambit of the legislation. It's only when you deliberately manipulate these songs and flags to incite hatred amongst others. Most people on here have nothing to worry about.

Well I personally don't sing GSTQ, but I have no problem with anyone singing it, as it is our national anthem. I cannot logically see how they can arrest thousands of people for singing the UK national anthem.

I am proud to see so many union flags at Ibrox, considering the overwhelming anti-British sentiment in Scotland. The SNP are a symbol of a group of people that are desperate to get one over the fecking English, even if it has a negative impact on Scotland. I am pleased that both the club and the supporters continue to triumph the British sentiment.

I also have no qualms over Celtic and any Irish or Catholic associations they care to champion. The Irish tricolour does not offend me, nor the Soldier's Song, the official national anthem of the Republic of Ireland. It just amuses me that Celtic fans sing it in English, but Irish people sing it in Gaelic, and given the fact that most of their fans are British, they can't sing it properly!!

Songs glorifying the actions of terrorists do offend me, and I believe this needs to be clamped down. But flags, people crossing themselves and national anthems do not offend me, as I am not a bigot. The people who are making these laws are. They see bigotry that most of us can't see. Then when we question it, we're called bigots ourselves.

Scotland is fast becoming a National Socialist state they are trying to wipe out everything which isn't Scottish or Irish and eradicate a centuries old tradition and culture something which only happened in Europe when the Nazis brought out laws which where of the same stature against the Jews until the Nazis got to full power of course then that changed to actually eradicating them.

I think 7000 rabid grey and greens making the sign of the cross in the broomloan would be more offensive to the Roman Catholic church not only are they prostituting their faith a kind of taking the lords name in vain but considering the decline in RC attendances I think the dirty beasts would be more offended that they are not doing it in the chapel.
