dalton 1,192
Fantastic for me and deserved underdogs in barcelona and in munich Tonight was even better to have to play in a champions league final normally in a neutral ground but it was at the home of their opponents Then to have to then take the deciding penalty kicks at the Bayern end after surviving extra timethat takes total courage Respect to them and Drogba as its the longest time i have seen him upright in one game
1873bear 192
Just in what an amazing night I've had phone calls & texts from English Chelsea fans in Germany, Costa del Sol, London, Coventry, Somerset and even Ayrshire all people who i've met over the years abroad who have something in common with me the love of Rangers & Chelsea......Well done Chelsea wish it was Rangers WATP..Blue Is The Colour!!!! Thermopylae 15,287
Well done ... to elimate Barcelona and then beat Munich in Munich makes them worthy champions
trueblue72 8
Congrats to Chelsea - but to be honest it looked like they were holding out for penalties right from the start - 34 shots to 9.. Parking the bus is a valid tactic at times, though.
Blue Atheist 178
They did very well. A never-say-die attitude throughout the whole competition.Scrapped their way through every round.Credit to them.Tough for John Terry i'll bet. He slides when taking a penalty against Man Utd in the last CL final and then has to sit in the stands for this one. Ah well.Ambramovic cuts down on spending and finally realises his dream. Just goes to show money doesnt buy everything and you need a solid group playing as a unit, as Chelsea did throughout.

Rupret 223
Well done indeed Chelsea, it reminded me of our Manchester run, there is no such thing as anti-football, only a winner and a loserBut I must say, Drogba is a hero and Terry is a Prick

2daludaludalu 390
always had a soft spot for Chelsea, but after our pre-season freindly even more so,i was next to them in the govan front, and the songs they were singing were priceless, esp. the 'we are the Chelsea Rangers; and remember a friend of mine [sellik supporter] went down for a friendly and telling me they had to get a police escort to the game, said he was never more frightened in his life supporting Sellik and he has a box at Parkhesd I don't know why you have friends who support that republican filth? Personally I hate the tarrier cunts.
2daludaludalu 390
Oh. And by the way your jolly craicster mate was probably participating in the jolly craicster sport of burning the union flag. No wonder the Chelsea lads wanted to batter his cunt in.

Non_Sucumbi 876
Happy for Chelsea and especially for the manager. Bet when D'Matteo stepped into the role he did not envisage being CL champions.Well done :crabflute:

dazbo84 698
Anyone who says that was anti-football either didn't fully watch the game or pay much attention to it, or is simply a hurting liar. Chelsea had plenty of clear-cut chances to score and looked dangerous every time they got forward. The possession was thereabouts 50/50 in the second half. Anti football - far removedBayern 43 shots 7 on target 20 corners Chelsea 9 shots 3 on target 1 corner ,U were watching a different game mate ! pcbear 10,924
De Matteo has put Abramovic on the spot, when he was draughted in as caretaker manager keeping the chair warm for another " superstar manager" no way was CL success on the menu, he has done what all the big names could not and get the big prize, maybe even Abramovic might call it quits now they have won the CL, his holy grail. It was pretty brutal stuff but they have their name engraved on the trophy.
